The ability to navigate the battlefield is an essential skill for a warrior. It’s a skill that’s taught in basic training from day one and increasingly reinforced depending on your job and experience throughout your service. On the battlefield if you don’t know where you are, you can’t get where you’re going, can’t locate the enemy, and can’t call for support. Navigation is not only critical to the success of the mission, but it’s also key to the safety and survival of your teammates and you. When we depend on our natural ability to get somewhere, we can become easily distracted. With guidance, we are less likely to become distracted, but it sometimes takes a little extra time. Maybe you are not where you want to be in life today. Maybe things haven’t quite worked out the way you wanted them to. Know that you are not at the end of your rope. This is not the end for you, and you will find a blessed future if you seek the direction found in God’s Word. He will guide you. Heavenly Father, guide my steps and give me direction. Provide me with supernatural discernment and wisdom. Amen. Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.
