How to Write a Product Description That Converts Browsers Into Buyers
*By Claire Cox | The Beginner Blueprint* ----- Someone clicks through to your product page. They’ve seen your content. Maybe they’ve been following you for a while, or maybe this is the first time they’ve come across you. Either way, they’re curious enough to take a look. What happens next depends almost entirely on one thing: your product description. This small piece of writing — often just a few sentences or a short paragraph — is doing one of the most important jobs in your entire business. It’s the difference between someone clicking “buy” and someone clicking away, never to return. The good news is that writing a product description that converts isn’t about being a brilliant copywriter. It’s about following a simple structure that speaks directly to the person reading it. Here’s how. ----- ## Why Most Product Descriptions Don’t Work Most beginner product descriptions fall into one of two traps. **Trap one: Listing features without context.** “Includes 30 pages, 5 templates, a bonus checklist, and lifetime access.” This tells the buyer what they’re getting, but not why it matters. Features without benefits leave the reader doing the work of figuring out what’s in it for them — and most people won’t bother. **Trap two: Being too vague.** “This guide will help you on your journey to success.” This sounds nice but says nothing. What journey? What success? Vague language doesn’t connect with anyone because it doesn’t speak to anyone’s specific situation. The fix for both is the same: be specific about who this is for, what problem it solves, and what life looks like after they have it. ----- ## The Simple Structure That Works Here’s a structure you can use for almost any digital product. It doesn’t need to be long — often five or six sentences is plenty. **1. Name the problem** Start by describing the situation your ideal buyer is in right now — the frustration, confusion, or struggle they’re experiencing. *Example: “Feeling overwhelmed every time you open your bank account and not knowing where your money actually goes?”*

Thank you for this! I plugged it into Claude and had it take me through the questions to write my e-guide offering mindset shifts for middle-aged women starting out on the carnivore diet. I turned on the dictation function so that I could just think out loud. Then I had it organize my thoughts into a loose framework and I was able to expand upon that through more questions from Claude to make the full e-guide. It needs some fine-tuning but I'm happy that I have something to work with now! I'm considering offering it as an audio e-guide and a text one, so that people have options.
What Is A Breathing Space And Why Does Nobody Talk About It
If you are in debt crisis in the UK right now there is a legal protection available to you that most people have never heard of. It is called the Breathing Space scheme — officially the Debt Respite Scheme — and it was introduced in May 2021. Despite being one of the most significant consumer debt protections introduced in recent years the majority of people who would benefit from it have no idea it exists. What it does A standard Breathing Space gives you 60 days of legal protection from creditor contact, interest, charges and enforcement action. During those 60 days every creditor included in the scheme is legally required to stop all contact with you about the included debts. No letters. No calls. No texts. No visits. They must freeze all interest and charges. They cannot take any enforcement action — no CCJ applications, no bailiff action, no attachment of earnings. These are not requests. They are legal requirements. A creditor who contacts you or takes enforcement action during a Breathing Space is acting unlawfully. What it does not do A Breathing Space does not write off or reduce the debt. It does not make the debt disappear. What it does is give you 60 days of protected time — free from the constant pressure of creditor contact and enforcement threat — to get proper advice, understand your options and make informed decisions about what comes next. That protected time — for someone in acute debt crisis — can be genuinely life changing. The Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space There is also a separate and more powerful version for people receiving treatment for a mental health crisis. The Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space lasts for the entire duration of the crisis treatment plus an additional 30 days — with no maximum time limit. The same protections apply — frozen interest, no contact, no enforcement — for as long as the treatment continues. If you or someone you care for is in mental health crisis and also dealing with debt this protection is available. Speak to the mental health care team about whether it applies.

FREE - FOUNDATIONAL MINI COURSE TRILOGY
https://clairesdigitalacademy.my.canva.site/free-mini-course-foundation-3-module-trilogy/ The reason most beginners do not make their first online sale is not because they are inexperienced It is because they are trying to do everything all at once. They are trying to: - Build a website - Create multiple offers - Learn every platform - Post everywhere - Start an email list - Build a funnel - Make content - Grow followers - Make sales All at the same time. And instead of making progress, they end up overwhelmed, frustrated and stuck. Most beginners do not fail because they cannot do digital marketing. They fail because they are trying to learn everything at once, while also feeling desperate to make it work quickly. The truth is… You do not need to do everything right now. You need to focus on the right things in the right order. That is exactly why I created my FREE Mini Course. It walks you through the 3 biggest things beginners need to get right first: 1. Fix Your Profile & Build Trust 2. Create Stronger Hooks & Better CTAs 3. Choose One Offer & Keep It Simple Because when you simplify everything, you stop feeling overwhelmed and start making progress. And if you want the full roadmap, my Digital Starter Kit takes it even further and shows you exactly what to focus on first, your next step. You can find everything in the classroom including this course or click the link above Any questions as always I am here …….

Hi Claire, I just finished watching the mini course and value the advice you give to stop switching course and offer one product for the next 30 days. Do you have any tips on how to choose which product is right for me to offer? I imagine one-on-one calls to kickstart people's carnivore journeys might be the simplest route, but I'm uncertain. Any help you have is welcome!
A reminder for anyone here who is just starting.
You don’t need: ❌ Thousands of followers ❌ Fancy equipment ❌ A perfect business plan ❌ To be an expert You just need: ✔ A willingness to learn ✔ Consistency ✔ The right guidance Most successful online businesses started with someone who had no idea what they were doing in the beginning. Everyone learns along the way. The important thing is simply starting. Quick question for everyone here: What made you decide to start exploring online income? 👇

The Real Reason Most Of Us Started Looking Online For Income — And What To Do About It First
Can I be honest with you about something? When I look at this community — and I think about why most of us ended up here — it was not because life was going brilliantly and we fancied a side project. It was because something was not right financially. Maybe debt had been quietly building for longer than you wanted to admit. Maybe the job was not cutting it anymore and the gap between what comes in and what goes out had been growing. Maybe a relationship ended and suddenly one income had to stretch where two used to. Maybe the cost of living just ground you down until something had to change. Most people who look online for a second income or a digital business are not doing it from a position of comfort. They are doing it from a position of pressure. And I think it is time we talked about that openly — because pretending everyone arrives here from a place of financial ease does not serve you. And it is not honest. So I want to introduce something new to this community. Alongside everything we do here around digital marketing, second income and building online — I am adding a dedicated section for financial recovery. It is called From Debt Crisis To Clear. And it exists because building a second income is genuinely harder — sometimes impossible — when the financial pressure underneath you is too heavy to think clearly through. You cannot build confidently when you are terrified about what is in your bank account. You cannot focus on learning new skills when you are lying awake running numbers that never resolve. You cannot show up consistently for a business when the bailiff letters are piling up on the kitchen counter. So before we build — sometimes we need to stabilise. From Debt Crisis To Clear is the resource I wish had existed for every person who arrives in this community carrying more financial weight than they have told anyone about. What it covers: ✦ Your immediate 48 hour crisis plan — what to do right now if things feel completely overwhelming

This was such a relief to read. Thank you for putting words to what I'm experiencing. I don't have debt but I have no money, and very little is coming in. I just ended a relationship after trying living together for 8 months. It didn't work out. It had alleviated my increasing money woes, and now the woes are worse and I'm back fending for myself. I am at the same time desperate yet calm. I know that I have a bit of time before things get really dire, but not much without going into a debt quickly. Your work is giving me hope, and I am very grateful. Today I started writing my first piece of digital writing: a beginner's guide to beginning the carnivore lifestyle and ending food addiction. Thank you again for your work. You are a beacon of light for me in stormy seas.

@Claire Cox Absolutely. With personal details is fine with me if you want to leave them in. I started writing my book yesterday with Claude as an assistant and have two chapters done already! ❤️
