Hey friends! Sorry for the slow start to our community. I’ve had a lot going on in my life: big life changes, and mental health issues because of those changes. I do want to get going on here, I just have to take it at my own pace since it’s new and I’m still trying to bounce back into a new norm. I wish I could say it is always smooth sailing, but anxiety doesn’t always follow our timelines. It often feels like two steps forward, one step back. Please feel free to invite friends to join, just let them know I’m still getting my bearings, in more ways than one, so they can post and interact as much as they’d like (following the rules, of course). Feeling blah but despite the chaos I must keep going 💜💜💜

This post has really stuck with me because I’ve always felt like I didn’t fit with any friend group. I’ve always had just one or two close friends, but always yearned for the classic “friend group.” Now, knowing I have anxiety, it’s helped me learn to let go of expectations and to just love people, no matter what. 💗 Happy Valentine’s Day!
