Teething....
For those of you with young puppies..... teething does get better! This little hand out is a useful reminder of what you can use to help and some handy bits of information that will help. No more bitey land sharks!

@James Hare It was truly horrible, and I can easily see why people label puppies as “aggressive”. I loved my puppy of course, but I didn’t like him at all for the first few months. I had to teach him how to interact with me and how to moderate his bite, and for a very intelligent puppy it took a surprisingly long time!

@James Hare Absolutely. I had to keep telling myself he didn’t mean to hurt me - in fact he was doing the best he could to interact with me because he wanted that connection. He just literally didn’t know how to play any other way.

@James Hare Except getting cold treats out of a pouch with my Raynaud’s Syndrome fingers! Half the time they feel like they belong to someone else, half the time they hurt so much I WISH they belonged to someone else. 😂

Who wants it??
OK, firstly I am not calling any of you out for a fight.... It is not that kind of who wants it! What I am asking you to do is ask yourself 1 question..... when it comes to training a behaviour.... Who wants it? So often I get a message, or a phone call from a customer who starts the conversation "I want" Now whether that is followed by recall, loose lead walking, crate training etc etc, it always starts "I want" So, flip the question on its head for me you lovely people..... "What does your DOG want"
