If Life is a Game… Do you know the rules?
I wonder if you realize how big of a role your beliefs play in how the Game of Life works for you? When it comes right down to it, they’re one of the most important pieces. If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can’t, you won’t. If you believe the game is hard, it will be. If you believe everything works out in your favor, it will. Whatever you believe, you will find evidence in your life to support. Most of us don’t question our beliefs because they feel so obviously right to us. Because we’ve believed them so long that we don’t even realize they are beliefs, we mistakenly believe they are FACTS. You start by noticing what beliefs you have. (You can’t even question them until you know they’re there). In Living the Game of Life, we’re learning and practicing the rules of the game as laid out 100 years ago by Florence Scovel Shinn in The Game of Life and How to Play It. We’re meeting live on Monday’s to dive deeper into the chapters of the book and learn to play the game better. (You don’t even have to be reading the book to get a lot out of these calls and you’re never too late to join. Replays are available.)
