I drew The Star way back in January. Why does that feel so long ago???😵💫😅 As per usual this message makes sense. Today I deleted more than half of my subscriptions on the YouTube and this community is fast becoming my only social media presence. Even Threads which I used to love is all ads and flashing posts. My circle of influence is quite concentrated at this point. I have got to eliminate places where I leak energy so I can prevent myself waning in the spring and summer. 🌞🚫🔥 shine don't burn ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am so excited for this next chapter in our beautiful community. I am going to shine here and not perform. I want to share insights and thoughts and creativity without that voice in the back of my head saying I am not enough. I saw a post on the YouTube the other day that asked if I thought I was kind at home. It got me thinking about the glamour. I am wholly myself with Jeff and the dog, and I am not always kind. Sometimes I am downright mean. 🫣 Home is my safe space to grow and be allowed such human moments. There I am always accepted and loved. On the flip side, I am never unkind here in the community. The level of self-control I bring here is the level I want to achieve in my sanctuary, my home. Because no longer does a safe space mean less self-control. I think because Jeff tolerates my unkindness, I failed to respect HIS safe space, and I know now that a place to grow doesn't include anything less than what I will "perform" in my behaviors in this community. Being on my best behavior is no longer what I believe to be performance but a courtesy of the respect and love I have for those in my circle of influence. I had it mixed up because as a child being on my best behavior meant I was performing so my mother would look good because she said that if I embarrassed her, I'd be in big trouble. I am ready to let her off the hook here and take responsibility for the decision I made about performance and the motives behind it. The fresh perspective of the message from my higher self brought swift attention and a deeply valuable lesson learned for me.
