Fear is a gate. And standing in front of that gate is a guardian. Behind him is everything you actually want. Your expansion. Your freedom. The next, larger version of your life. And the guardian's whole job is to make sure you don't get there easily. He shows up as the racing heart, the flood of thoughts, the voice that says go back, this isn't for you, not now, not you. Here's what I've watched happen in men, and live myself. We walk right up to the edge. We get close enough to feel it. We can almost sense the freedom waiting on the other side of that gate. And then the guardian shows his face, and we turn around. Every time. We retreat back into what's familiar. The problem is, familiar isn't safe. Familiar is just a hell we already know the shape of. And this is why you see grown men living in quiet resentment. Living half a life. Lying awake running through the what-ifs of everything they were too afraid to walk toward. They're not there because they're weak. They're there because they met the guardian and they believed him. But there are other men. Men who feel the exact same fear, the exact same racing heart, and make the movement anyway. They cross. Not because the guardian disappeared. Because they finally understood what he was guarding. The fear was never the wall. It was the doorway. So I'll ask you the only question that matters here. Which one are you? https://www.instagram.com/p/DaLGz9msC6C/
