Halfway through the week. Time to check in. This week is all about turning your product into a listing. Photos, title, description, tags. The stuff that actually makes people buy. Where are you at right now? 📸 Have you taken your first product photos yet? 📝 Do you have a draft title or description? 🚀 Is your listing live yet? Drop your current status below. Share a photo, a draft or just where you are stuck. The community is here to give feedback and help you move forward. No listing is perfect on day one. :)👇🏼

Pinterest for marketing
Hi everyone, quick question — do any of you use Pinterest for marketing your products or business? If so, have you tried using ads on there, and do they actually work for you? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, results, or any tips. Thanks!
Evaluation of your products on Etsy
Could you please help me? I’m trying to sell on Etsy—I’ve already made a few sales—but when I crunch the numbers, I just can’t seem to turn a profit. I’ve been analyzing my competitors—their prices for some products are even lower than mine, and they offer free shipping. As a result, I have a product that costs $8, minus Etsy’s commission, minus $5 for shipping, and minus the cost of the product itself—so I’m actually losing money.

Yeah that’s an issue I had starting out—you’re basically underpricing. If it’s $8 with $5 shipping + fees, you’re always going to lose money. Instead of trying to be the cheapest, raise your price and include shipping (like $13–$15 free shipping). Also focus on making your product stand out (personalisation, better photos, niche) rather than competing on price.👍
Motivation
How do you guys motivate yourself to keep going. I know I should learn how to 3D model in blender or fusion, but I don't do it. Other things are more interesting the whole time. Like playing battlefield redsec.

Honestly, motivation isn’t the main thing—it’s discipline. You won’t always feel like learning Blender or Fusion, especially when games are more fun in the moment. What helps is starting really small, like 20 - 25 minutes a day, and just being consistent. Once you get into it, it becomes easier and even enjoyable. Also, try doing it before gaming so it doesn’t get skipped. Progress > motivation 👍

@Daniel Kasbauer I get that tbh but even 10-15 minutes per day can make a great impact to your 3d printing journey
Etsy question
I'm new to etsy, doing the 6 week sprint. I've set my items as made to order, but it still requires an in stock number. Can I remove this or is it best to keep it? Any other tips/advice appreciated 🙂

You can’t remove the stock number on Etsy, even for made-to-order items. Just set it to how many orders you can handle at once (like 5–10) and use processing time to manage expectations 🙂
