Are Brogues Outdated For Modern Style?
Gents - do you still wear brogues? Let me know in the comments below!
Are Brogues Outdated For Modern Style?

I’m an Allen Edmonds junkie. I have several pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and boots with brogueing. I prefer them as a part of my business casual or casual ensemble. Most of my brogues are brown. However, I do have a pair of distressed black shoes with brogueing for that vintage look. I love both cap toe and full and half brogues.
First Ever Newsboy Cap
Gentlemen, I've never owned a newsboy cap before; I've always worn regular hats. Maybe I've "matured" enough to invest in my first cap—although I must admit, I still have some mental barriers about it and I'm not sure if I'll actually start wearing it. I didn't even remove the tags during the fitting! :) I’d love to hear various opinions on whether it suits me and how it might fit into different outfits, etc. I'm a complete novice in this area, and I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Great looking hat! Welcome to the hat world! It’s a rabbit hole! Technically, what you have on is a flat cap, not a newsboy hat. However it still looks great on you! I personally own a couple of newsboy caps, which I typically wear in the winter months. I’m currently in the market for another and eyeing an Andsons newsboy. I own an Italian one which I bought from a local hat store, and an Irish tweed one from Mucros Weavers. Newsboys typically have a six or eight panel with a button on top. Flat caps are the ones that you have on.

@Chuck Cranford I’ve been looking at Boston Scally. What’s your opinion of them? They seem a bit too close fitting and small for my tastes. Thoughts?
Are untucked shirts trendy or timeless?
I remember seeing the untucked look as a casual outfit a few years ago and I jumped on board. Outside of short sleeved aloha shirts, is the untucked look still acceptable or should we reconsider? In which situations is it acceptable to go untucked (long sleeved button down shirts)?
OOTD 12/12/2024 - Just a Yellow Sweater.
Today, I'm going without a jacket but still wearing a tie. The focal point is a vibrant yellow sweater that's incredibly soft and comfortable. - Sweater: Cashmere/Merino blend - Shirt: Blue pinstripe - Tie: Navy with polka dots - Pants: Chinos by Crew Company - Shoes: Suede and leather ankle boots by Meermin - Quilted Jacket by Bugatti Quick Poll: In your opinion, does this look better with the sweater tucked into the pants or left untucked? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Sweaters should never be tucked into the pants.
I don’t wear a suit every day…
… but when I do, it’s generally in front of a crowd of tech and business leaders, presenting important techie stuff in my day job as a techie! I also like the slight stubble look as I’m getting older. 😀
