@Colby Noe It seems like you're taking my question the wrong way, I was just asking for clarification, you gave me a one word response with a shit emoji. I joined this group to learn more about mining, as a previous Bitcoin miner from 2014-2016 told me that mining was fake and rigged.
https://www.financemagnates.com/fintech/googles-willow-can-the-quantum-chip-break-bitcoin/amp/ After doing some research, it is clear to me that quantum computers will have the ability to destroy the BTC blockchain… not yet, but soon. What are your thoughts?
What part of the article makes it clear to you that quantum computers can destroy Bitcoin? "Quantum computers like Willow could theoretically break Bitcoin’s cryptography by solving complex mathematical problems exponentially faster than the computers we’re currently using. Specifically, a quantum computer could unravel Bitcoin’s public key cryptography, exposing private keys and rendering wallets vulnerable. Essentially, if Willow were pointed at Bitcoin’s network, it could, theoretically, dismantle the system faster than you can say blockchain." ? @Benjiman Schlegel
