Small group
A long while back, a few of us had talked about doing a group and discussing live while doing some charting. Anyone interested in this?

@Fidel Sanchez thanks. Had some personal stuff going on and now I can get back to my life! How are you doing?

My schedule will get cleaner for me after our spring break so maybe we could all plan something.
Emotions Run High Even on Paper!
Its not real money...yet; however, even on paper I'm learning to breath, something Kyle said on one of his videos. I placed this superman order, and it immediately dropped to within ticks of the stop loss, Took a breath and literally looked away (pulled up a game on my phone). Minutes later, it was within ticks of taking the profit, but again, started dropping, took another breath and left it alone. Again, it jumped back up and finally took the 2 to 1 profit. My point is, practice breathing and stepping back, let the process work. Also, this may not be the correct way to do it, but before the market opened, it dipped into my planned demand, so as soon as the market opened, I was looking for Superman entry, too soon?

That emotional stress will kill you in the long run. If your goal is one trade and done, walk away and completely close program after you enter the trade. I let the market "cool" after news and opening to see what direction it'll actually go. Both of those can burn right through zones. I allow 15 minutes or so before entering trades.
Eval's Passed
I was notified today that I had passed all 20 eval accounts. I just finished activating the PA accounts. The zero to launch day section really help me refine and guide what I was doing and helped with the discipline. Thanks for the great training Kyle!

Now the real test of your discipline starts, congratulations!
Impact of news on trading
Hello everyone. How do we trade when there's big news announcements? Assuming that throws off all the Superman strategy. Also, what is everyone's favorite go-to site/app to get their most up to date trading related news? I've been using throughout the years news from different places such as Charles Schwab's (or previously TD Ameritrade) app news, iPhone stocks app, Yahoo's finance site, etc., but felt it was always all over the place to the point where I couldn't get quick and focused news at real time when stocks impacting news happens. Any recommendations?

I like this https://www.forexfactory.com/calendar?day=today Depending on the news, there will be days I avoid all together. I definitely will make sure I am not in a trade within 30 minutes of the news and then let the news settle a good 15 minutes before even looking at the charts again. Some of those red folder days will have impact all throughout the day as different businesses and companies review the data and act accordingly to how they see fit for them at different times of the day.
The Otherside
So, I joined some Facebook groups for day traders and it COMPLETELY reinforced everything the courses teach us. These people are straight cowboys. They go for home runs with every trade. They attempt to pass a 300k eval with one trade, then take a payout ASAP. They are straight gambling so it is comforting to know more about who we are up against. Just thought that may be interesting to the group. Good Luck Everyone!

People are definitely attracted the thought of lots of money and get it quick! I imagine those groups see a lot of turn over in terms of members passing through. Welcome to this group, you'll see we have a different mindset.
