This is great work i would love to see more contrast between your light and dark areas so maybe a darker graphite pencil that is closer to an 8B-10B or even using a kneaded eraser to dab or roll the areas that are blended together to create texture. Or even something more simple like darkening the pupils and adding a small reflective space inside the pupils I will say that you have improved your technique in creating a more natural flow of eyelashes 👏🏾👀 Progress and improvement is what we here for and I love to see it keep growing and posting more pics I appreciate your participation and effort to grow as an artist 👩‍🎨!!!

@Lorraine Andrews yeah the other ghost also has a velocity and I feel like that just looks so thought out because you decided it’s direction and depth with the reflective light and translucent identity then also made sure that the speed of the ghost’s body moving was identified through other details you added to that ghost and the candle, Thank you for sharing your progress with the unfinished ghost next to it That alone puts into perspective for all of us viewing this to understand the importance of trusting the process of your own creation through the layers of the animated figure that has defined depth and complexity and knowledge of repetition so you are aware that just letting it dry and coming back to tweak your work is so much better for the artist mindset than dwelling on what could be done with in the same session with wet paint on the canvas Painting needs patience sometimes and you helped the community exponentially by showing your patience and awareness through this work in progress!!!! 🤌🏾🙂‍↕️👏🏾🙌🏾🫵🏾✍🏻
