9/15 accountability
Today, I’m holding myself accountable to apply everything I was coached on yesterday to my scene, so it’s ready for tomorrow’s coaching session and for filming for my reel!!
Week 2 update and last week successes
Got the chance to meet up with @Tara Milante last night to talk through our Week 2 reflections and wins. We helped each other realign our focus and strategize on how to tackle the week ahead and reach our goals. I made a small shift in my 5-week goal — instead of changing my Dallas agent, I’m going to focus on strengthening that relationship and improving my materials. I also plan to attend more local film events to network and expand my connections in the Dallas film community! Last night was a great opportunity to reconnect with my goals and figure out how to make them fit into my schedule. With the exception of Sunday, I’ve stayed consistent with going to bed on time, waking up early, and starting my day with a morning walk. Feeling really good about the momentum!

9/30 last week successes
I was able to start my 5 week rapid success and got a chance to meet with Tara and Greg to find clarity in what we learned from the videos and what my goal is moving forward for the next 4 weeks! I was also able to look at my schedule and start the consistency on making sure that I got 8 hours of sleep and I even got a 20 minute walk done this morning!!

Revise my weekly schedule so it aligns with my 5 week goal!! I already went ahead and researched who is signed with one of the agencies I am looking into and who I could potentially ask for a referral!

5 week accountability + thoughts and questions!!
Tara, Greg, and I met on Zoom last night to talk about Module 1 and review our 5-week goal and action plan! My Goal: I want to move to a stronger Texas agency where I’ll have more opportunities for film and TV auditions, not just commercials. I keep hearing from others in the area about all the film and TV projects happening in Texas and the auditions they’re getting, but my agency hasn’t shared much in that space. Whenever my friends or I bring it up with our agent, he just says things have been slow. I remember one of my acting coaches telling me about four years ago that my current agent was more of a C-level option in Texas—fine to start with, but not the strongest. Action Plan: - Research top-tier agencies in Texas (currently looking at Linda McAllister Agency, which also represents in LA!). - Connect with actors/coaches who are signed with these agencies or know the agents personally to learn about the opportunities they’re receiving and, if possible, ask for referrals for the ones I know and have worked with. - Submit applications to the agencies. - Once I secure new representation, make a clear plan for how to transition away from my current agency. @Mike Chat and anyone else who might know—what’s the best way to gauge the credibility of an agency in the area? Specifically, how can I tell if they have access to stronger breakdowns? I’ve started using IMDbPro to see who’s signed with them and what types of projects their clients are booking as a starting point. Do you have any other tips or strategies I should try? Thanks so much!
