AcuAroma History
Some of you may be wondering where AcuAroma started. I’ll share some of my personal story about this amazing modality. Early on in my aromatherapy career I discovered Gabriel Mojay’s book, Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit. In this book were drawings that showed acupressure points. I was intrigued but all the dots didn’t connect for me until I took a class with Peter Holmes and Tiffany Carole on the fundamentals of Aroma Acupoint Therapy. Seeing and Feeling the aromatic frequency interactions between the essential oils and my body’s Qi energy was nothing short of miraculous. I knew this was how my practice would evolve. I later partnered with Joseph Carter who had also worked with Tiffany Carole. Together we promoted the modality as AcuAroma Therapy. Joseph has trademarked the phrase. I most commonly refer to the modality as AcuAroma. Simply stated it is placing a properly diluted essential oil on an acupressure point to initiate shifts in the body , mind and spirit. If you have questions about AcuAroma, add them to the comments.

If you don't have Silver Fir think of the conifers that have cones that stand upright on the branches. Noble Fir (Abies procera), Balsam Fir (Abies balsamea), Korean Fir (Abies koreana) are good substitute

Ear Shenmen
Welcome to AcuAroma Enthusiasts. I'm so glad you are here. One of the first acupoint and essential oil combinations I learned was Bergamot on Ear Shenmen. It balances the hemispheres of the brain and encourages a state of parasympathetic relaxation. This is the key to initiate the healing process and allow the body to be receptive. Try this simple combination with Bergamot diluted to 25% with a carrier oil. Share your results and experiences in the comments.
