We wouldn't be who we are if we hadn't also fixed that part aswell. You may have encountered the same bug/issue @Jakolien Sok ran into - the update service didn't work.. So we fixed it BUT here's is a little twist to it - you need to delete your old catknows. folder and download the newest version in order to make it work in the future. Here's exactly what you do now: 1. delete your catknows. folder (or keep it as an ancient relict) 2. head over to https://cat-knows.com/ and download version 0.0.11 (yes it took us that many versions to figure it out)= 3. run catknows. and enjoy The only small hiccup here is that you will start with a fresh database but there were no ways around it in order to make the automated update service run in the future seemingless. Hey everyone 👋 We’re getting closer and closer to leaving the “boring” parts behind us, the groundwork that nobody sees but everyone needs - getting your data. Over the past weeks, we’ve been focused on developing and refining the data fetching process, which allows catknows. to receive and store the necessary data from your communities safely and efficiently. To make sure everything works as intended, we’ve used hoomans. as our “patient zero” testing, debugging, and polishing every step of the process. Now, things are finally looking great and we’re super close to being ready to bring you in! 🚀 🌍 What’s Next: The Onboarding Phase In our event tonight, we’ll share: - how the tester onboarding will work, - how your data will be stored and processed, - and what the next steps look like for your communities.
