Can you identify the "turning points" in your life?
Our Grow groups started this month with everyone sharing a few of their turning points. I loved how those deep, vulnerable conversations united us. Mine were my 18-yr-old daughter's pregnancy (2009) and my best friend's unexpected death (last December). Would any of you like to share your turning points?
What do you do to get yourself re-started on Mondays?
Happy Monday, everybody. I want this Circle to be the best part of your Monday. That's a fairly low bar of achievement -- NOBODY likes Mondays. You can help by sharing your best trick for getting your week started off right.

Practices of Discipleship Making
I am wondering how everyone keeps or makes prayer and scripture foundational in their Church or life? What rhythms or structure is in place? At my church here in Denver we do a weekly pre-gathering prayer before service as well as a prayer room style midweek. For the scripture component I think we might be lacking a cohesive structure or intention of making scripture foundational outside of the sermon. In past years we have done bible reading plans as a Church. I would love to hear other's thoughts!

Or maybe we're just embarrassed/shy about it?

I had a group of prayer warriors who led a prayer ministry in a church I served at years ago. There were a half dozen of them who took turns praying through every service, so someone was in a separate room praying the whole time. They also led a weekly prayer time and 2-3 big prayer activities each year. They were awesome, but often felt discouraged because very few joined them outside of the big, all-church events.
Greeting in the name of Jesus Christ
I am thankful to God for you and God has chosen us for the world in which billions of people live so that we can serve Him and achieve salvation and everlasting life. The Lord says that you are not but I have chosen you from this world God has the purpose in everything and everything. No work or thing happens without God's will I believe that God has mixed us out of this great world. There is definitely a purpose in God

Hello Gulraiz. Welcome to the circle. This community is just beginning to come together. There has not been a lot of conversation yet, but I would enjoy getting to know more about you.
