Building an AI receptionist for tradie clients (missed-call answering + booking) and trying to pick between building it natively in HL or wiring in Retell/Vapi separately. @Jason Hinsley That's awesome, a voice agent answering in your own voice is exactly the kind of thing that makes this stuff click. And "monitor, improve, iterate" is probably the realest part of your answer, that loop is where the actual learning happens, not the initial setup! One thing I want delve into more... you said HL's agents make sense if you're already using HL for other things. We're not on HL yet, nothing built there so far. So curious what others think too... if you're starting from zero with no existing HL setup, do you still go straight to HL's integrated agents? Or build the CRM/workflow layer on HL from day one specifically so the agent integration pays off? Or go bespoke with Retell/Vapi and skip HL entirely for now?
Workflow advice: rebuilds vs builds from scratch
Hi all @Nate Herk Quick question for those who do website work regularly... I have a process for building sites from scratch for businesses with no existing website. We're now adapting it for rebuilds, businesses that already have a site and want it redone. It's proving to be a different challenge: working around existing content and structure rather than starting clean. For anyone who does rebuilds regularly, what does your workflow look like? Particularly interested in how you decide what to keep versus rebuild, and how you handle creative direction when a client is attached to their current site. Appreciate any guidance! Thanks

How do I actually build the Claude Code bonuses in my offer?
Hey all, offer's locked in. Now I'm stuck on execution: I've got several bonuses in the offer that are meant to be quick, valuable extras built with Claude Code, tools and reports that support the core service and make the whole package harder to say no to. Problem is, I don't actually know how to build them yet. For anyone who's built similar tools: where did you start? Is this a 'give Claude Code a detailed prompt and let it figure out the stack' situation, or is there a smarter starting point I'm missing? Keen to not overbuild something that should be simple
