Misconceptions About Alignment
One of the biggest misconceptions around manifestation is the idea that everything should feel easy if it’s “meant for you.” That’s not actually true. Aligned doesn’t always feel comfortable. Sometimes aligned feels: - vulnerable - unfamiliar - emotionally exposed - like growth - like telling the truth - like finally stopping the pattern And forcing doesn’t always look dramatic either. Sometimes forcing looks like: - obsessing over timing - repeatedly seeking reassurance - trying to control every outcome - chasing signs instead of making decisions - constantly pulling cards because you don’t trust yourself yet Tarot is most powerful when it helps you strengthen your own discernment — not weaken it. The goal isn’t dependency. The goal is deeper self-awareness. ✨ Reflection question: What currently feels “forced” in your life? And what feels quietly aligned, even if it also feels a little scary?

Vulnerable, unfamiliar, emotionally exposed—I get it. I guess that shows how tuned into our ego and 'normal' thinking we are; I certainly am. When I'm in a 'space' things just slot into place. There's a good message in this....
Manifesting isn’t just “thinking positive” and hoping the universe delivers.
Real manifestation starts with: ✨ clarity ✨ alignment ✨ recognising what is blocking you ✨ and actually taking action when the opportunity appears That’s where tarot becomes powerful. Tarot doesn’t magically hand you a new life. It helps you see: - the energy you’re currently operating from - subconscious patterns - where fear or self-sabotage is keeping you stuck - and what needs to shift to create movement Sometimes the cards confirm: “Yes — keep going.” Sometimes they reveal: “You’re asking for one thing while energetically holding onto another.” And honestly… that awareness changes everything. This week inside the group we’re exploring: 🔮 manifestation through clarity, not fantasy 🔮 how energy + action work together 🔮 using tarot as a guidance tool instead of dependency 🔮 recognising when you’re aligned vs forcing Question for you: What is one thing you say you want… but your actions, energy or choices may not fully support yet? That’s usually where the real shift begins.

For years, I've thought about manifestation, especially in the late '90s and mid '00s. We had books like 'What the Bleep: Down the Rabbit Hole', 'The Secret', and 'Law of Attraction by Esther & Jerry Hicks', to name a few. It took a while — and years of tarot readings — to realise what those books lacked: they never said, "Take Action"! Cheryl is 100% on-the-money. Tarot helps you cross the line that other people and modalities didn’t or wouldn’t cross. Take Action.
Meaning Making with Ritual
One of the things modern life has quietly lost is ritual. Not performance. Not tradition for tradition’s sake. But meaningful moments that help us process change. Humans naturally create ritual around transitions: grief, relationships, new beginnings, uncertainty, identity shifts, and endings. Because ritual helps us pause long enough to acknowledge: something is changing. Without those moments, people often stay emotionally caught between who they were and who they’re becoming. It’s something I see often in readings and conversations here at the markets. Sometimes people sit down thinking they need answers… but what they really need is space to reflect, reconnect and hear themselves clearly again. Ritual doesn’t need to be dramatic to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s simply creating a moment of intention in the middle of a busy world. At South Bank tonight 🌙

I agree. I have rituals before seeing clients; occasionally, things go wrong and those things like topping up the water, lighting candles, etc and they don't get done. It stuffs my whole day. A question I'd ask is a ritual a chore—I think the only difference is mindset. A chore is a ritual without a loving positive mindset.

I agree. A "huh, work moment!". Interestingly, the ritual helps get me out of the disconnected mode.
TUESDAY — WEEKLY ENERGY READING
This week carries an energy of pause before movement. There may be a sense of wanting to push forward or make something happen quickly, but the underlying energy is asking for clarity first, action second. Cards: - Two of Swords - Knight of Pentacles What this means There’s something sitting just under the surface that hasn’t been fully acknowledged yet. You may be: - avoiding a decision - waiting for more information - feeling pulled in two directions The Two of Swords suggests that not choosing is also a choice — and it can keep you stuck longer than necessary. At the same time, the Knight of Pentacles brings in a very different energy:👉 slow, steady, practical movement. This isn’t a week for big leaps. It’s a week for: - quiet clarity - small, consistent steps - doing what’s in front of you well

Thrusting forward. Not normal Knight of Pentacles energy, but it feels good.
