Good morning, everyone! My name is Andrew. I’m a trumpet/cornet player from the UK and joined this group after the trumpet call between Manuel and Louis. I consider myself to be quite serious in my trumpet playing and I am really intrigued how daily exercises as suggested in the call will help my trumpet playing.

Hey, everyone! Got a last minute invite to palest rate in another awesome Skool community! So, trumpet players (and all curious musicians), join me today at 7PM Portugal time inside Louis’ Trumpet Academy for a special session: Breathing in Physical Exercise: The Case for Trumpet Players 🌬️ For the next 8 weeks, we’ll explore different areas of trumpet technique, and we’re kicking things off with the foundation of it all: Air. Your sound doesn’t start at the lips or the horn, it starts with the breath. Mastering your air makes everything else easier! In this call, I’ll answer questions like: - Can resistance training affect our breathing? - Is it positive or negative — and why? - What’s the right way to breathe while exercising? - Can breathing muscles actually get stronger? - How does this transfer to trumpet performance?
