Friend filter...I have so many friends on Facebook that I don't even know from ages ago. What are the key advantages of not having them as friends. I get that they don't interact, but how does that impact negatively on me or my algorithm?

Listened to the video, makes sense now. I see you can also track friends by interaction on the Facebook app as well. I would not say its the greatest, because even real friends show up, or is that a sign of their friendship. I have 1600 on my profile. If I know few 100 of them that's a lot.
