Count your blessings Challenge!
Okay…. You asked for it! Here’s the challenge! 🫶 We need to start counting our blessings. The world is full of bad news — but we have the greatest News… Jesus who comes to save us! But… we need to announce it when it comes. 💪So here’s the challenge: Every day - create a new post under the challenge category and share a blessing you received that day… You get an extra point if you share a Bible verse! (Possible — 2 points a day) This is going to be an advent challenge… so the last day is Christmas! 😇Winner will receive an advanced copy of my book on prayer — currently in the works! And the challenge starts…. NOW! 🥹🙏🔥 Here’s my blessing: all of you - sharing your faith - loving your faith - ready to commit to growth in virtue! I’m grateful for this community!

@Elizabeth Wright This is how I bless my children each night, with these words. It was from Jeff Cavins, so I can't take credit for it

Very thankful for the Lord to have used my brokenness to help Him in His work of binding up the wounds of the brokenhearted (Psalm 147) through working at Freedom Coaching. Transformation takes a tremendous amount of patience, so I am grateful for the guys' yeses to keep enduring. St. Teresa of Avila says, "Patient endurance attains all things." Thank you for the grace of endurance. Also, in an odd way, thank you, Lord for the means of enduring - the trials. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thes 5:18). We teach all our clients how necessary gratitude is to dispel the darkness and the uncomfortable thoughts and emotions (along with renouncement prayers!)

OK, there are a couple but one that hits me most more recently is 2 Cor 4:17 "for this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison"

@Fr. Nicholas Fleming As a father of 5 small children at home (7 and under) and a wife who feels defeated by the time I come home, this IS a great reminder! Thank you!
