Hi everyone, I'm glad to be a part of this group, and I'm slowly making the switch from a remote sales employee to freelancer. I was a digital nomad living in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua before coming back to the United States. My former employer let me live anywhere in the world while I sold, but I was sick of being an employee. I am currently doing freelance sales work, and I am looking to get into web development. @Brett Dev is there a video of you explaining why you don't like web development any more? I remember watching your video from about 6 years ago with you explaining how to get started. I'm looking to be more of a lead generation small business owner. I think the plan currently is to learn how to get landing pages up, create marketing/sales funnels, and then have prospects sign up for appointments. I want to cold call businesses who are lacking in this area to get new clients, and then, I want to build them the lead generation platform. I'm still figuring out my target market. Thoughts on this?

That does sound a lot easier. I read this book today about sticking to what you are good at when it comes to freelancing. I'm currently doing freelance BDR stuff, so it seems logical I should step into a freelance closing role! Thank you for the advice
