Guardians fan here 🙃 Congrats on the W! I adopted a saying that fits well with a lot of work places and definitely for Ohio sports, “things went as expected, but not as planned.”

@Kyle Henris That’s true! They did finish well, so the regular season was exciting to watch.
TradingView tech issues
A liitle help. Still trying to practice but Tradingview freezing up. This time its stuck on Friday? Their AI answer says reboot my computer but that doesnt help. I subscribed to Essential plan and CME. Thanks

I think you may just need to switch to the December contract period since we’re nearing the end of September. I ran into this same issue over the summer when the June contract period was coming to a close.
It’s a Journey
Just some thoughts and experiences in case it helps anybody else in the early stages of trading and the EA process. It’s a journey for sure.. use the process to grow and learn. Just some notes on my progress from the last 7 months… When I first started with my EA I was trying to find any way to jump into a trade, then when I got in just hoped it’d work out. I rationalized nearly any trade and then felt anxious when the trade was triggered. I felt like I needed to get through the EA quick so I could start rolling in the Benjamins 🙃 That was then, but my mindset and habits have changed… Now I make a strict plan and follow it. Based on the plan and how busy I am with my job, I may take 0 trades in an entire week and then there was also a day that I took 3 trades. The activity fluctuates, and that’s ok. I don’t try to force anything, but just follow the plan when the opportunity arises. I haven’t passed an EA yet, but feel confident that I will. And I know that it will only take 1 payout in the future to offset my investment. That’s worth being patient for and doing the right way. I will say, I was a little salty the last couple EA’s ($50k Tradovate accounts) because I failed with my account still over $50k. My account peaks in those were $52,600 and $52,800…. Heartbreaking losses for sure but I still learned from each of them!
Price never came back to demand zone
Happy Friday peeps! So quick question, I’m been practicing in replay mode, and through a 3 day span price just kept rising and and never came back into my demand zones, as I kept resetting them with new lows and new highs. Do you just chalk that up to the market that week (does that happen from time to time). I felt like I missed opportunities to cash in on that bullish market🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m still early on this journey too, but have seen this happen occasionally. My recommendation would be to leave the blocks you created as a reference for the future but just focus on the newly created ones to trade. One day you could potentially play those areas when the market gets bearish again. I have successfully played a zone before that was several weeks old. My caution there would be that if the market gets bearish and you’re looking to go long, then don’t necessarily count on that spike to jump back up 2x the size of your drawn zone. The entry is critical to hit a winning trade.
Trading Question
Is there a reason why there hasn’t been any activity on the futures market since market close on Wednesday? I thought maybe the market was closed for Juneteenth, but I’m not seeing anything today either. For reference, I have active TradingView and CME Group subscriptions.
