Agent Zero v1.9 is live! Meet the A0 CLI Connector 🖥️
Hey everyone, v1.9 just dropped, and it comes with a brand new tool: the A0 CLI Connector. What it does: It's a CLI that connects your local machine to your Agent Zero instance. It can view and edit files directly on your host machine, while all code execution stays safely inside Docker. Best of both worlds. The only requirement is installing Agent Zero version 1.9. Previous version don't support the CLI connector. Install it now: - Mac/Linux: curl -LsSf https://cli.agent-zero.ai/install.sh | sh - Windows irm https://cli.agent-zero.ai/install.ps1 | iex Or ask your Agent to use the a0-setup-cli Skill to guide you. 🔒 Security Note: This release also patches two CVEs (SSRF and Path Traversal). Please update your instances. Other highlights: - Browser Agent can now use its own dedicated model preset. - /project and /config commands work directly in Telegram, WhatsApp, and Email. - Redesigned messaging settings with clearer setup flows. Update Agent Zero: Settings > Update > Open Self Update > Restart and Update

I’ve installed v1.9, installed the cli connector in powershell, enabled remote code execution and read/write access but my agent is still saying that there is no CLI client connected to this context. I’m trying to have the agent copy a project structure directory to my local machine
Tool_args and tool_name error
I'm getting this error often when my agents try to call tools, skills or other things: ValueError: Tool request must have a tool_args (type dictionary) field Traceback (most recent call last): Traceback (most recent call last): File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 176, in _run_async data["result"] = await data["result"] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/agent.py", line 572, in handle_exception raise exception # exception handling is done by extensions ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/agent.py", line 485, in monologue tools_result = await self.process_tools(agent_response) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 183, in _run_async result = _process_result(data) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 143, in _process_result raise exc File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 176, in _run_async data["result"] = await data["result"] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/agent.py", line 854, in process_tools await self.validate_tool_request(tool_request) File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 183, in _run_async result = _process_result(data) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 143, in _process_result raise exc File "/a0/helpers/extension.py", line 176, in _run_async data["result"] = await data["result"] ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/a0/agent.py", line 958, in validate_tool_request if not isinstance(tool_name, str) or not tool_name.strip(): ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I've had the agent try to troubleshoot and try to fix multiple times, I've even deleted the whole container and started from scratch. Anyone else having this issue? It ruins my workflow as it stops the agent in their tracks when they are working a task.
Agent Zero as Accountant
Has anyone attempted to fully build out a bookkeeping agent on Agent Zero? Like dropping in a bank statement for the month, having an agent linked into QuickBooks via an API or whatever and have it categorize and reconcile in QB? Any success with training this? The reason I ask is because my wife has a bookkeeping and accounting small business, but is giving birth in June. I'm looking for ways to automate her work as much as possible since entrepreneurs don't really get PTO as a one person show. Any time consuming tasks that I can build out and hand off in A0 would be fantastic.

could you explain the last sentence a bit more? Add in MCP for database? You mean like a client database? And what would the agent do to "maintain files?"
