This course is full of foundational skills and information that I wish I'd been aware of earlier in my career. I spent 20 years of my life figuring out how to make a stick fly further. What's beautiful about this, is that it's incredibly simple metric: did it fly further? Many other sports are a lot more complex, but what they often are less developed in is training around body awareness, self-awareness, and understanding how thoughts and emotions can be trained to affect technique, power and learning speed - immediately, and noticeably. This course basically teaches athletic metacognition: how to think about your thinking, and how to become more responsible for your success in sport. In my experience: the more I did this, the easier and more fun it became to be a better athlete. MY SUGGESTIONS: This is one big course, but I've broken it up into smaller classes. The more you dive deeper into the course, the more it'll become apparent how each one is connected to and enhances the others. A common thread for students in this course is that they have a lot of "Aha" / light bulb moments, and they happen even more often when they've done the whole thing. Start out in the free classes: they'll give you a sneak peek of a few of each of the videos from Holistic Systems, Daily Wins, and Emotional Training. Then pick the one that excites you the most and start there. This curriculum is non-linear (just like life). A NOTE: I'm redoing Movement Cheat Codes with a videographer 🎉 thanks for your patience. Hi Liz! I listens to the podcast with Austin and loved it! I coached parkour for a long time and a lot of the feel based movement really resonates with my personal beliefs of how to help people find their own movement. Happy to find a little community to learn and share with :)
