3 New Cooking Tutorials to Level Up Your Plant-Based Cooking
Hey everyone! 🌱 I've been in the kitchen creating some new tutorials for you, and this week we've got three completely different lessons—from building the perfect fried rice, to understanding your knives, to making a quick and flavorful mushroom pasta. And as always, I'm not just showing you recipes. I'm showing you the techniques behind them. Because the goal isn't to memorize more recipes. The goal is to become a more confident cook. 🍚 1. My Ultimate Plant-Based Fried Rice This one is all about building layers of flavor and texture. I'm combining brown rice, quinoa, couscous, vegetables, caramelized mushrooms, crispy Plant Roast, and aromatics to create a fried rice that's anything but boring. I'm also showing you how I make crispy glazed Brussels sprouts to go alongside it. You'll learn: ✅ How to properly season your cooking oil ✅ How to get that beautiful caramelization on mushrooms ✅ How to keep your rice from becoming mushy ✅ How to create crispy plant-based protein ✅ How to balance sweet, salty, savory, spicy, and acidic flavors 🎥 Watch the tutorial: https://youtu.be/EuBl71wh71Y 🔪 2. Knife Skills 101 A good cook needs to understand their tools. In this tutorial, I'm breaking down the fundamentals of kitchen knives, from choosing the right knife to handling, sharpening, honing, and cutting safely. We'll talk about: ✅ How to choose the right knife for the job ✅ Proper knife handling and safety ✅ The difference between honing and sharpening ✅ Sharpening stones and different grits ✅ How to approach different ingredients safely ✅ Techniques that will make your prep work faster and more efficient These are skills you'll use every single time you step into your kitchen. 🎥 Watch the tutorial: https://youtu.be/V57zxkFL-io 🍝 3. Farmers Market Mushroom Pasta Sometimes you've had a long day and you just want a good dinner without spending hours in the kitchen. That's exactly where this pasta came from.

👨🏾‍🍳 New Cooking Tutorials Are Here!
One thing I want you to remember... Great cooks aren't the people who memorize the most recipes. They're the people who understand technique. That's why every tutorial I create is about more than just showing you what to cook. I want to teach you why something works, so the next time you're in your kitchen, you can cook with confidence instead of constantly looking back at a recipe. This week, I've shared three new cooking tutorials that each focus on a different set of skills. 🥙 Crispy Homemade Falafel Bowl 📺 https://youtu.be/bd9tvZ578ME Learn why dried chickpeas make all the difference, how to create perfectly crispy falafel, and how to build a balanced grain bowl packed with flavor and texture. 🥘 Vegan Oxtail Stew with Garbanzo Bean Lemon Rice 📺 https://youtu.be/EzBZGkO36I4 We'll dive into layering flavor, creating rich plant-based comfort food, and using simple techniques to build depth in every bite. 🍳 Homemade Vegan Eggs 📺 https://youtu.be/c3RGaNFOMNM I'll show you how to make your own versatile plant-based eggs from scratch and explain the techniques behind getting the perfect texture for omelets, scrambles, breakfast sandwiches, and more. 🌱 A Quick Thought... My goal has never been to give you hundreds of recipes. My goal is to help you become the kind of cook who can walk into the kitchen, open the refrigerator, and confidently create something delicious. That's what happens when you understand technique instead of simply following instructions. So if you have a little time this week, pick one of these tutorials, cook alongside me, and practice something new. 👇 I'd love to hear from you: Which one are you watching first? 🥙 Falafel Bowl 🥘 Vegan Oxtail Stew 🍳 Homemade Vegan Eggs And if you make one of them, share a photo in the community! I'd love to see your creations and cheer you on. Happy cooking! – Chef Ed 👨🏾‍🍳🌱

Whether you tried just one recipe or cooked your way through the entire meal plan, you're building skills that make healthy eating easier, more enjoyable, and sustainable for life. Remember: Transformation doesn't happen from one meal—it happens from the habits you build in the kitchen. 👇 I'd love to hear from you: - Which recipe was your favorite? - What did you learn this week? - What cuisine should we explore next? If you made one of the dishes, post a photo in the comments! I want to celebrate what you're creating in your own kitchen. 📸👏 Here's to making flavor our medicine, one delicious meal at a time. — Chef Ed 🌱💚
