#1: Introductions 👋 | Let’s get to know each other
Hiii and welcooome! I'm so excited to have you here. Before we jump into resources, lessons, and opportunities, let’s start with the most important part of this community: the people. Take a moment to introduce yourself and, if you feel comfortable, share a photo too. It can be: - a photo of you - a moment from a coliving - a place you love - or something that represents how you travel or build community

@Aaron Cogolludo hey Aaron, I am so glad to have you here, welcome to the community. I just had a look at your coliving space and it’s so cool the inspiration: the nordest wind. I had the ‘chance’ to experienced it myself when I was in Catalonia. I had to google it back then to understand why it’s so powerful 😅. But yes, really nice, I am so happy to see the Coliving sector growing. When you say you would like to crack the community well since day 1, what do you have in mind, or how we can support you? Do you need some proven tactics other Coliving’s did, or you need a community builder? Happy to brainstorm some ideas.

Hey @Jeanne-Elise Fontaniere so nice to have you here 🤍 And thanks for sharing your Substack and consulting work, so cool to see what you’re building. I also totally agree with what you said about professionalizing the sector and recognizing facilitators’ work. Community building should be a real, paid career, not just something people do “on the side.” This actually came up in Coliving Hub's webinar yesterday too, one of the questions Alisa had was how to price and structure these roles beyond volunteering. It feels like a conversation we're ready to have. Really happy you’re part of this space and looking forward to learning from your perspective ✨
#2: Get oriented in the coliving world
I’ve put together a free, comprehensive guide to help you understand the coliving world and how community building fits into it. LINK HERE It covers: - the different types of coliving spaces - the roles that exist (volunteer and paid) - how community building actually works in practice - and how people usually find opportunities in this ecosystem It takes around 20 minutes to read, but once you’re done, you’ll have a much clearer picture of: - where you fit - what kind of colivings might suit you - and what your next step could be After you read it, come back here. Ask questions. Share reflections. Start conversations. I’m really curious to hear what resonates with you, and I can’t wait to build this together 🤍

Working/Volunteering Opportunities in Colivings
👋 Hey Coliving operators, if you’re running a coliving space and looking for a community builder, this is the place to share your opportunity. Many community builders are actively looking for places where they can contribute, grow, and build meaningful communities, and many operators are looking for the right match. Let’s connect both sides. 👇 Post your opportunity below and include as many details as possible so people can understand if it’s a good fit. Helpful things to share: - Location & type of coliving (destination, residential, pop-up, etc.) - Start date and duration - Volunteer or paid role (and any stipend or salary) - What you’re offering (accommodation, perks, financial support) - What you’re looking for in a community builder - Photos of the space or community (highly encouraged!) The clearer and more human your post is, the easier it is to find the right person. Let’s find your next community builder here 🤍

I love seeing this already 🤍
I literally launched this community two hours ago and we’re already five people in here. That makes me so happy. What do you think about doing a casual coffee chat next week to meet each other and connect a bit more?
I love seeing this already 🤍
