How I Make More Money with Less Experience
Competence, Confidence, Care. The 3 C’s. Competence - situational awareness meets conscious efforts. Be useful. See what needs assistance and be the assistance. Confidence - do everything as if you have done it before even if you haven’t. Live a life where you challenge yourself and overcome your own challenges to build the understanding that you are capable. A happy life builds confidence. Care - give a shit. Try , and try hard. Be mindful, give everything care even sweeping the floor. If you embody these 3 C’s then you will make more money guaranteed.

How I Make More Money with Less Experience
Becoming Valuable (this will make you more money anywhere)
I’ve worked with countless companies over the last 12 years and there is a lack of care and a lack competence. Seriously man, people just don’t care. People are barely making it by in life, let alone their job. If you show care, genuine care, then you are ahead of the curb. Most guys just want to get a paycheck , and go home. they just want to get by. And that is how you have a miserable life. This job is purposeful and useful. The world needs carpenters. There is no shortage of work. But there is a shortage of care and a shortage of competence. I see good carpenters who are technically good, they know how to do their job. But they don’t have passion or fire or care. Because they don’t live passionately. So number one is to live a life you like. Don’t be what the system trains you to be. A mindless slob addicted to TV and crap food, lazy when you’re off the clock. If you’re a miserable person then you won’t care. And it takes effort to not be miserable. So care for yourself, enjoy your life, marinate of the small wins in your life, strive for joy. That’s number one, care about your life. Number 2, be competent. Don’t be an idiot. Competence is a skill you build through Paying attention to what’s happening around you. Recognizing the patterns and adding value to the situations. If you’re with another carpenter and he’s doing a one man job, don’t stand around, sweep the floor. Be useful and keep busy but take every opportunity to learn. watch him and pay attention to what he’s doing. Ask questions. Pretend you’re a character in a video game and you need to build skills, because that is the case. Cease all opportunities to gain knowledge. That’s competence. Reading the room and being what the room needs, that’s competence. So be competent and be caring. This places you above 90% of people immediately.

What are you struggling with?
Merry Christmas friends, happy holidays🙏 Tell me of some roadblocks on your path of life. I think of carpentry as a part of my life. A branch on the tree. In order to have a good life, all of my branches need to be trimmed and maintenanced. The branches need to be in order for the tree to be well as a whole. So anything that is difficult in your life, will bring difficulty to your career and relationships and all avenues of life. The simple act of speaking about your difficulties begins to ease the pain they create. It’s a step towards overcoming. I’ve been having difficulty eating well, and doing my daily practices. It’s been hard for me to do meditation and yoga and breathwork as soon as I wake up , because I’ve been feeling low. And feeling low will make it harder to eat well. Solutions: I feel about what my lack of discipline does to my 20 month old daughter . It doesn’t give her a good example of a man, I don’t want her to settle for a weak man who is undisciplined but if she sees that in her father then that’s what she may be willing to do. So number 1, be strong for my daughter. Have a strong body and spirit to be an example of self love for my loved ones. Number 2, it perpetuates a cycle that just gets worse and worse. So even though I feel bad, I ALWAYS feel worse when I keep going on my downward spiral. So really I just need to be willing to feel like shit for some time. I need to allow myself to feel bad and not cope with junk food or sweets. REMEMBER THE PAST ANDRE, THIS JUST DOESNT WORK! So eat good even though it pisses you off and you don’t feel like it. What have you been battling? I want to hear and I’m here for you /with you 🙏
