What reply rate do you expect from contractors?
Hey guys, I've started Cold outreach through IG and I've sent to about 200 prospects so far. and my reply rate was 0.5%! I'm trying to figure out why, is it because I pitch in the first message? my current template is: Hey ........., are you getting enough leads from your website? I noticed an outdated design, missing sections, no clear call to action, and a structure that lacks conversion. I already built a mockup of how your website could look. From what I’ve done for roofers, sites like this typically boost leads by 2 to 3 times within a few months. If you want to see it, just drop me a 👍 and I’ll send it over along with more tweaks that convert interest into real projects.

Hey @Abdelrahman Hassan, here in Brazil, we use WhatsApp more. I got about 100 leads to talk to, but cold leads are always less engaged in actually solving the problem. Of those 100, I had a response rate of about 15%, with most refusing, some forwarding it to the person in charge who also didn't respond, and about 3 showing interest. Only 2 listened to the proposal until the end, and both said they would analyze it and call me if they decided to go ahead. It's a long journey. I see that people who campaign get warmer leads. Posting good content on Instagram and having a good portfolio greatly increases the response rate, but not necessarily the conversion rate. I'm going to try other niches and come back here to talk about it. I tested it for a construction company, I'm making three websites about it, and I already have a portfolio in civil construction. So it conveys more authority. At the same time, clients who are in high demand are not concerned and are actually afraid of growing and not being able to provide services to more leads. Brazil is tough here; entrepreneurs are afraid of growing and lacking skilled labor or increasing their taxes and decreasing their margins.

YouTube recently launched the audio track feature (automatic dubbing). I came across your channel because of this, and I strongly believe that if you uploaded the same video again, YouTube's new feature would be added. This greatly improves the accessibility of the video and also its reach. I can watch the video with translated subtitles, but that would mean spending three hours reading. When I watch videos on YouTube, I'm usually working and leaving the video on another screen. Many people do the same, which is why I believe the video's reach is smaller. Otherwise, I continue to follow the videos and strategies.

What are the pillars of a good website?
Based on my current knowledge, I understand that a good website today must have a few key elements. - Follow basic design principles. This and the client's identity (if they already have one). - Have assertive communication and use SEO knowledge to increase the website's visibility. - Performance is crucial. Today, people don't wait, and a fast page will perform better in both organic and paid traffic. By following these three steps, if the client has a good offer, good demand, good customer service, and makes good use of the website in their marketing strategy, they will have good results. A website is for conversion, but without traffic, there are no miracles. It's math.
Why I use WordPress, follow the thread...
Here in Brazil, my first contact was with blogs, and it was WordPress. When I started selling, I noticed that there were several platforms such as Wix, as well as pure code websites. 1 - I realized that WordPress has a huge advantage in development because it is low-code, meaning that by learning web design instead of programming, in just a few months I was able to sell my first projects and earn money from it. 2 - When it comes to delivery, clients are usually very unfamiliar with this area, but with WordPress (especially with the Elementor builder), it is very easy for them to change things later on their own. 3 - Autonomy is freedom. Imagine your client's website breaking down due to a lack of updates and them being unable to do anything about it, no changes, nothing... Thinking about this, I realized that WordPress makes it much easier for the client to continue working on their project in the future, whether with me or with another team. NOTE: At the beginning of my career and college, I was very hard on myself for not knowing how to create websites in pure code. Today, I see that it wasn't worth it for my reality. But I still want to learn, especially if the client's website is fast and I can make a kind of front-end panel. I see that Framer and Webflow have dominated the market in the US, so I'm not sure whether to stick with Wordpress or switch to Framer or Webflow to sell abroad. I've seen that Framer is simpler, mainly because it imports from Figma. Feel free to comment as much as you like. The more opinions and contexts we have, the better we can expand our learning from different perspectives. I am counting on you, and you can count on me. 😄
