SOS Spring Safari Happenings in Ocean Drive
Hey y'all, it's Bo the Webguy here, straight from the heart of North Myrtle Beach, where the shag never stops and the beach music keeps the good times rollin'! Listen up, shaggers – SOS Spring Safari 2026 is comin' in hot, April 17 through April 26, right here on Ocean Drive. That's 10 full days of the biggest adult spring break party on the East Coast crashin' into our little slice of paradise. Thousands of you folks from all over will be pilin' in to reunite with old friends, make new ones, sip a cold one, and most importantly, hit those dance floors hard! I love promotin' the live bands 'cause that's the soul of shaggin' – catch 'em playin' those classic beach tunes in the beach clubs and lounges durin' the day (and sometimes nights too). Think crowd-pleasers from groups like The Embers, Gary Lowder & Smokin' Hot, Band of Oz, Jim Quick & Coastline, and all the local favorites that get the crowd movin' and groovin'. I'll be postin' the updated band schedules right here on as we get closer – check back often, 'cause the lineups are what make those afternoon sets special! But let's be real – I know most of y'all shaggers live for the DJs crankin' the favorites all night long. That's where the real non-stop action happens! Spots like Fat Harold's Beach Club boast the best DJs spinnin' your go-to tracks on that legendary dance floor. You'll find killer DJ lineups at OD Arcade, Ducks, Pirates Cove, and more – mixin' in shooter parties, workshops, free beginner shag lessons (Charlie and Jackie at Harold's are pros at gettin' newbies started), and just pure energy that keeps the party goin' till the wee hours. (Quick note: Spanish Galleon is all about those live bands – head there for some great stage shows at night!) Don't miss the famous SOS Parade on Saturday, April 25th – Main Street shuts down for floats, costumes, shag clubs battlin' it out for best in show, and total chaos in the best way. Grab your SOS card for access to all the clubs day and night – it's the ticket to the whole scene.
