Live styling demo tonight!
Just a little reminder that we’re live tonight at 8pm GMT for our premium members. You can become a premium member for £15 per month (cancel an anytime) by tapping on classroom at the top of the page, then click on any of the locked classrooms. If you tap the event in the calendar, you can save a reminder so it pops up when we start. Tonight we’ll be looking at salon-time-friendly Hollywood waves — a refined version that gives the look and polish of classic waves, without the 2–3 hour styling time. Perfect for bridesmaids, events, or clients who want that soft, sculpted finish for a night out. See you later — whether you join live or catch the replay in the premium hub tomorrow 🤍

Today’s wedding 💓
Hello all! I had my second wedding of the year today at the Old Course hotel in St. Andrews (holy posh) and I thought I’d share some of my work from it. The bride opted for a fairly sleek side bun, her sister had a twisted bun, her other two bridesmaids had half updos alongside her daughter (flower girl) and her mum had a bouncy blow dry. Most of my products were OSIS and Wella, and I used the MD London curling wand and the babyliss pro tongs to curl 🫶🏼

@Shannon Linton amazing! I’ve not heard of them before. They create really beautiful waves 😊
Hollywood waves
Hi everyone! I’ve attached a photo of one of my brides from the summer. She wanted a soft Hollywood wave, I was happy with the results but it took so much work and I still feel there is from for improvement. I was wondering what other people do to achieve Hollywood waves? If there are any easier waves if I have a wedding guest and I don’t have the time to spend on them? Thanks in advance ☺️

Yes please 🙏🏼 luckily she only wanted a loose wave but I wouldn’t have been able to get it any more defined if I had wanted to and she had great extensions in. Xx

Waving techniques - have you tried yet?
I’ve just shared a clip breaking down three different waving techniques from this weeks live education and how each one changes the finish. If you’ve had a chance to watch it, I’d love to know — have you tried any of these techniques yet in the salon? Even small changes in placement or tool choice can completely shift the result. Share what you noticed, what felt different, or any questions that came up. This space is for learning, testing, and refining — not perfection. 💭✨

@Heather Robertson she loved it 😍 When I started her cut she mentioned that she wanted more volume. She has very fine hair so I put the mousse on after I dried her hair off and even after just blow drying it she was amazed at how much volume she had in her hair. 👏🏽👏🏽 xx
