I had never heard of the Amazon Influencer Program until my friend told me about last year, I was excited to hear about the opportunity as reviewing is what I love to do and I had been looking for such an opportunity (without being an influencer on social media as that is not me anymore) and I started immediately the process, got accepted into step 1, then I registered for a $97 course (was inpatient) to figure out how to use the Amazon Creator dashboard. I followed my own steps, got accepted straight away. 3. My biggest win - December being my highest month (second month in the program) earned $230 4. At the moment finding more mid and high level products to review as I have reviewed everything in my house, friends products and an airbnb. I am going to another airnbnb next month. I have a strategy for how to do it but yet to implement. 5. My goals is to implement my product strategy in place (which I know how to do) and also start on my Amazon Merch account for fun. @Greg Mallin Thank you for asking. First and foremost read the Amazon Terms and Conditions - this is very important. Secondly for the two step process to go smoothly first you need to have an engaged social media account. Which social media do you feel most at ease with? Pick that one and make sure that is set to public and a business page on Facebook or a Creator page on Instagram. Engagement means having a page where every time you post, people comment and like your content. And you are responding. It does not matter the number of followers you have. It helps if it is an aged profile. If you have been on that specific platform for a while. They also look into that. Secondly when making your 3 videos I think it helps to make 3 different product videos. My first 3 videos was 1) a chair 2) a beauty item 3) a water filter. I did two videos horizontal and one vertical video. After you have read the terms and conditions you would have found out you are not allowed to make medical claims on any videos. Through my experience I have found out you are not allowed to mention the word "safe" neither. When you are making your videos, keep it simple. Do your videos like you are talking to a friend. Share why you got this product, what you like about it and if there are negatives you can say something like "if I was to change a thing about this i would" to keep it neutral. I hope that helps.

I just do good old market research which is very easy for me, does not take long. I focus on the mid/high selling items of all times. I look on Amazon for that. Basically the best sellers. I also review items when I am travelling in Airbnbs. I have started doing reviews based on holidays last month (left it too late) for Christmas but see that people still buy these items one month later, and all through the year.

I made $60 in my first month and $230 in my second month. I'm in 2 month and a half and at $61, due to January being the month where everyone is returning a lot of items and I didn't upload as much videos as I did in December. I have 160 videos. For me it's less of a numbers game and more of a test because I enjoy to make video reviews.

@Kelly Booth you don't have to pay for joining the Amazon program it's free. I have a few friends on YouTube that have free courses that explain the process and two other friends with 2 free Facebook groups that help a lot.
