I suck at resting. Well, at least I used to. And I still often do. I’m on vacation now for the next 10 days, hence my radio silence here. I’m in gorgeous places, with incredible people I love. And yet I feel daily the guilty pull to do a run through all my work channels, because the storyline is: 🔘 if I stop, everyone will forget about me 🔘 if I don’t respond right away, I will lose opportunities 🔘 if I don’t feed the algorithm, it will knock me back down and erase the progress I made in bringing the almost 200 of you here It’s a daily (almost) spiritual practice to let the capitalistic pressure run through me without doing anything about it. To return to resting and pleasure and non-doing without guilty. But, somehow, I am succeeding. The work I have done on my sleep, ability to rest and claim my pleasure are bearing fruit. Work I am eager AF to share with you when I return. ☺️ In the meantime, here’s a video of my slice of paradise. Would love to hear from you: How do you relate to real rest when you’re on vacation?
