Hey what's up everyone! I hope you all have had a great day and some time to decompress, if not this is for you. Not just sitting down to distract yourself but sitting long enough to notice what's going on in your body. I'm not sure about you but sometimes the loads get heavy. The mental burdens of everyday life wear on you. On your mind, body and spirit. What would it feel like to just sit for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or even an hour in complete silence? No where else, just with yourself. What thoughts do you notice? How quickly would you feel the need to stir? How do you feel when you think about them? When you think certain things does your heart race? Can you feel tightness in your chest? You're holding on to something. And when you're holding onto something, your body is subconsciously looking for a relief valve. When that valve gives way, this is where we are at higher risk for falling. Falling back into old comfort zones. Things that try to pull you back. This is not a failure. This is a signal that something within you is calling out to be noticed. As Carl Jung said it "until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate".
