Need Help Understanding WhatsApp, SMS & Email Outbound Automation (n8n)
guys i really need help with this, been going back and forth on this for a while and i feel like im going in circles lol im trying to build a outbound messaging system on n8n — whatsapp, sms and email. im new to this stuff so bare with me but i genuinely want to figure this out properly WHATSAPP (this one is killing me) ok so whatsapp outbound is a nightmare. numbers getting banned, spam flags, the whole thing. i heard the move is to warm up the number — like start with 3 messages a day and slowly increase over 2-3 weeks until whatsapp trusts u enough to send 100+ a day. is this actually how it works or am i missing something? what schedule has actually worked for you guys? also for outbound u need a pre approved template to open the 24hr window right? and if they dont reply u send another template to keep it open? just want to make sure i understand this correctly before i go build something wrong and also how do i approve it now this one is the biggest headache for me — i want the bot to handle replies when no human is available, but the second a human jumps in the bot should shut up. how do u actually build that handover logic?? and on top of that i heard when ur number is connected to the api u literally cant open and view that chat — like what?? how is anyone supposed to manage conversations then and i dont even know which api to go with. 360dialog is official but charges per message. unipile is unofficial but flat monthly and after 24hrs messages are free. which one actually makes sense for outbound? is there a video anywhere that walks through setting either of these up properly — like the actual configuration, not just a surface level overview big problem for me rn — i cant afford to get a client and just mess up their stuff while im learning, and i dont have money to burn on testing either. so im really trying to understand this deeply before i touch anything live SMS ok so i know theres some law in the US around outbound sms — tcpa or something like that. how do u even do outbound sms legally? do u have to register something? genuinely have no idea where to start here

Follow-Up System: WhatsApp + SMS + Email — What Actually Works ?
Hey everyone, Building a lead follow-up system for real estate and wanted to get some opinions from people who've actually done this. The plan is to hit leads on 3 channels simultaneously — WhatsApp, Email, and SMS — and whichever channel they reply on, continue the conversation there and stop the other two. What I need from you guys: → How many follow-ups before you call a lead dead? → What's your day spacing? Day 1, 3, 7? → With 3 channels running at once, do you send the same message on all 3 or does each channel get different copy? → Where do you get the actual scripts from, what does your messaging actually say? Still figuring out the best sequence logic and what words actually convert. Would love to hear from people who've been through it. Drop what's working for you

@Tim West Really appreciate this, super helpful That follow-up breakdown actually clears things up for me, and yeah different copy per channel makes sense. Also thanks for the script suggestions, gonna check those out. Quick question, when a lead comes in, do you hit all channels at once or space them out a bit?

@Tim West Got you 😅 I meant like, when a new lead comes in, do you message them on all channels right away (WhatsApp + SMS + Email), or do you space it out? Like WhatsApp first, then maybe SMS/email after some time if they don’t reply. Just trying to understand how you structure that first touch.
What’s the Best RAG system for Claude code?
i found many like light rag or obsidian or notebook LM py not sure what would be good for me I have information on a business that I need Claude code to understand when building an automation

Lowkey you don’t even need a full RAG system at the start 😅 I’d just use Obsidian or even a clean folder with docs and let Claude read from it. Once your data grows, then yeah look into Light RAG or something more structured.
