Thanks Kyle. @Kyle Henris @Matt Wedan, I see that the lead fractal was mentioned again, but I couldn't follow the logic of the significance of it compared to any other MSS that we had in the past over POI. Can any of you explain what is the difference now with these lead fractal compared to what we did in the past with MSS over POI? I feel that I'm missing some key new concept that was not reviewed in the past in this group. I specifically waited and didn't enter the trade after 9:49 on MNQ since last week you mentioned something about waiting to go over the lead morning fractal. So I had to wait for MSS past the 9:33 high fractal, so my entry was much higher - so I need some clarification on this. Also, is there any review for Friday's session? Thanks!
Lucky or Something There?
Took a short trade on MES this morning that worked out, but about 5 minutes after the trade closed out price reversed and shot back up through where my stop would have been. So I'm just wondering, was there anything there in the morning or did I just get a lucky break? Price had already taken highs in the premarket on MES and MNQ and then was just kind of hovering in that range until 9:57. I say MSS and FVG closing below lead fractal on MES. So what do you think, good call or lucky break?

You didn't follow Kyle's strategy, which is to hit a major POI (overnight high/low, daily high/low or at minimum some major hourly fractal) before making a decision. So unless you had any other strategy that you followed, this was based on feeling so you got lucky. Congrats on your win anyway 🙂

Thank you @Kyle Henris . I made the trade on MYM after seeing the obvious MSS above the lows with the two large FVGs (entered using Fib on that bull leg), while MES/MNQ had also clear bull trend, so saw it as confluence. I am not sure if your mentioning of needing to pass the leading fractal was done in the past month after I left the boardroom, but can you elaborate a bit on this? Do you mean that when at the first few minutes of the session open when you see a fractal going up, you will then not make any move until you pass it? Any other times or scenarios?

One day you're bull, next day you're bear.... as long as you manage to stay in the game.
