A reflection about the recent SKOOLx competition

I'm curious...how many of you set an intention before you memorize your speech or step up to improvise? If you do, what intention do you set? And have you noticed whether it changes the way you speak or how your audience responds? I'm curious to hear your experiences.

I recently had a demo to do, and I don’t know what happened to me. I completely started to freak out and made my delivery at full speed and clicking everywhere on my demo platform and that triggered even more speed. No ability to show things in a correct order or tease my wow effect. The worst part : I was conscious of what was happening but I didn’t found any way out of this horrible vicious circle. Thank god my demo platform was great enough so that it sent a lot of visuals that made people enjoy this crazy delivery. But when I finished I was so disappointed of myself, not because I messed up, because that can always happen but because I knew what was happening but I didn’t adjust and give myself time to breath. That is why I ask you, what would you have done in that situation ?
