I was thinking about a micro Saas like project for my own business. The idea that came up in my mind was something like close to lead qualification. I was thinking of creating an AI-type assistant which is going to convert hesitant, confused customers into potential clients and then pass them to real agents just so we can save their time and energy. I was thinking of specifying this to a niche, so the niche that came into my mind was travel agencies. I'm just a bit confused like where to start from? Should I start from a chatbot or should I start from email assistant or would WhatsApp do better? What would be the best option for a mvp, with least friction

, got some mixed opinions, actually the real problem is, in theory every channel has its advantages and can serve the purpose but there is a big IF there, "if they do get leads from that channel", I asked my uncle (he is in Saudi, works with travel agencies) he told me that here leads use whatsapp to connect with us, I asked my friend (who has worked for multiple companies and agencies to get them qualified leads) he said chatbot is very valuable, so I decided to ask people who have like real experience and knowledge in this field (automation), anyways thanks for the reply

Is Chatbot in demand, what does your experience suggest? Aren't they seen generic? Aren't they ubiquitous? Does it still hold any substance? How is it for travel agencies?

@AI Advantage Team Brilliant response, but aren't chatbot viewed as robotic, I mean there are some pitfalls: a. Website traffic (If website traffic is minimum then they won't consider it) b. Google with cognition and feelings (It is just an intuition but I would like to entertain it, wouldn't people disdain chatbot, I mean, imagine talking with a robot π€, my intuition insinuates that people with intentions won't avail themselves from a chatbot, people who are just dabbling might play with the chatbot for fun) c. Bad Experience (People might have bad experience with a chatbot before, I am specifically mentioning agency owners, they might react against it unconsciously, without even considering a demo)
