Ancestors having a laugh
Over the weekend my knee started hurting. It progressed to the point that I could barely walk on it or sleep well. I went to an ortho to have things checked out and the PA pulls up my X-rays and says "it's arthritis. Does arthritis run in your family?" I laughed and then told him that my mother (70) has needed a knee replacement for about 10 years now and her mother called arthritis "ole Arthur" and had knee issues until she died at 94. Later that day, I look at the shirt I had grabbed from the drawer that morning and said "now....y'all are just being funny." And I know my grandmother would have just laughed 😂😂.

New Birth 7/2/2026
Thought it would be interesting to discuss when we decided to be born. The date, time, place etc. it shapes who and our purpose in life. We get the fun figuring it all out! Welcome my newest great niece Lina! Her story has been a high risk pregnancy starting off my niece was hospitalized after 14th week or so for a month then released at home rest. Many dr visits later for close check ups. Brittany was 35 weeks (due early August) on Sunday and her dr appointment said okay to travel. Niece took that ok to drive yes drive from IL-FL. Well she delivered a baby girl yesterday. My takeaway Lina wanted to be a water sign Cancer like her older sister Liliana, who’s birthday is today 7/3, and her “favorite” great aunt (me) has birthday on 7/5. What are you discovering about the date, time and place you were born?

What a little cutie! And happy birthday to all. I'm firmly convinced my daughter wanted to be a taurus (taurus sun, scorpio moon, taurus rising. Taurus stellium.) and she dragged her twin brother along for the ride 😂😂.

I am very excited for this months focus - The Archangels 🪽 In the classroom you will find a wonderful Guidebook on 10 of the Archangels, understanding some of their history, their characteristics, energy, strengths and simple ways to work with them! You will also find a Guidebook on working with the Moon Phases I thought everyone would enjoy. 🌗 More will be added over the next few days, including your Monthly Energy reading, and audio lessons about the Archangles. Enjoy! 🪶

Oooo, so excited. As Carey knows, Archangel Michael is my absolute favorite. Have a tattoo for him and everything.
Update to: Connection during busy times
So, here I am a couple weeks later. Still in the busy time discussed here: https://www.skool.com/the-sanctuary-with-carey-kaas/connection-during-busy-times?p=be3c94b3 My daughter's surgery went perfectly and she is now in inpatient rehab with the goal of going home on July 2nd. I was able to find many small moments of connection over the last 10 days: - Talking to my spirit team during my daughter's surgery to help me stay grounded. - Watching a family of bunnies living in the green space outside the hospital. - Marking the summer solstice with a knot practice from ThatGlasgowWitch. - Taking a scooter ride to a local yarn shop (Mad Dye Yarns) and finding tarot themed yarn. I bought 2 skeins of The Star and 2 skeins of The Magician. - Having a hilarious interaction with hospital security who asked me to open the pocket altar I got recently for Hekate. Security asked if it was drugs. I said no and security said "uh....ok....you're good then." It has been a tiring time, but we've had amazing support from the hospital staff, family and friends. And we've been continually impressed by my daughter's resilience, strength, and motivation. Thanks to everyone here for your support and suggestions. They definitely helped.

@Kimberly Armatys probably crochet but I also learned how to nalbind last winter (it's an ancient cousin of knitting). So I may nalbind if the yarn cooperates for that.

@April K it honestly does look slightly sketch to the untrained eye, lol.
Cat put to rest 💔
Hi friends, I feel like I've been trying to find footing in my life, and over the past year have been swept up in a torrent of change. As many of you know my mom has been in an ongoing cancer journey, and recieved good results on her last scan that things have shrunk considerably and stabilized. However, she unexpectedly had a fall last week, scraped up her hands, and her mouth a bit. She is healing, and starting to feel better. Last night my cats health took a turn, she had a couple of minor seizures, and we had to put her to rest at the emergency vet clinic nearby. She was 16, but heartbreaking nonetheless. I was advised my one of my spirit guides that she will do a life review, have a rest, and then change form to become another spirit guide for me. That information has given me considerable relief, but her physical presence will be missed greatly. I feel like I am trying to find the ground, and maybe this period of my life is more about flowing with the current. I wanted to share a bit about why I've been absent from the group and calls, and will gratefully receive any healing energy or kind words. Thank you for being part of my journey, and having a place to share about this extremely hard part of my life. 💖
