what - no brown eggs?
so apparently a certain supermarket are only going to sell white eggs in the future - because the hens will be smaller than standard, eat less and produce less manure. have they not heard of bantams? our Welsummer bantam lays lovely brown eggs. should we let them in on the secret? 🀣

@Mark Byford ooh I want to ask you about your take on organic produce now? I’m at the beginning of learning thanks to this platform and your YouTube channel.

First Time Tomato Grower πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…
Morning everyone 😊 First time grower here, I’m growing what I believe to be Gardeners Delight. Grew them from seeds on my windowsill and I hardened them off for 7 days before putting them outside just a week and a half ago. Noticed that some of the bottom leaves are starting to yellow. Anything natural that I can do to help them?

White Stuff?
Can anyone tell me what the white stuff is on my rose plant? Do I need to be concerned?

Container Growing Inspo…
I’m limited to growing in pots only though my heart aches to grow in proper beds. Please could someone show me some photos of growing in pots for some much needed inspiration. I have one little raised bed as pictured that someone gave me but the rest are in pots. Reasons I can only grow in pots…. 1) my house and garden is built on a old council garage site. Just centimetres below the turf is one giant concrete slab. 2) I rent the house and not allowed to dig the garden up. 3) it’s a small garden, there’s absolutely no room for even one raised bed anywhere nevermind a south facing one πŸ˜• I’m growing strawberries, blueberries, carrots, radish, salad, potatoes (but no such a seedling yet) parsnips, tomatoes and one cabbage πŸ˜† In the raised bed I’ve got spring onions and brown onions. Also growing some eucalyptus to tie to my shower head for refreshing and sinus clearing steamy showers. Really could do with some container growing inspiration πŸ™πŸ»

Learning on the Job πŸ™ˆ
I’m new to growing altogether but brand new to growing tomatoes πŸ… I’m trying Gardeners Delight and noticed that they were getting a bit leggy (and limp) on my south facing windowsill. I’ve just potted them in bigger pots - the only ones I have and planted them in the compost up to the first leaves. I’ve not put them back on windowsill. I’ve been watering every other day. Shall I continue to do that? Does this look okay? I’m hoping I’ll get some juicy tomatoes but feel like I’m learning on the job.
