Seeking Advice on Running Funding Rounds for Separate LLCs
Hello All 👋🏽 I could use some advice from those with experience in raising funds across multiple LLCs. About a year ago, I successfully secured $90,000 in funding from Chase Bank for one of my businesses, a combination of a 0% interest credit card and a business line of credit. Now, I’m looking to run another round of funding for a separate LLC. My question is: Do I need to pay down the debt on the first LLC before sitting with Chase again? Or is it possible to raise funds for this new entity without needing to clear that balance? I’d love to hear from anyone who has managed funding rounds for different LLCs or who has dealt with a similar situation. Any advice or insights on how lenders might view this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
