šŸŒ±šŸ’” What is carbon farming?
There’s a lot of noise, politics, and changing rules out there. That’s why we created Carbon Farmers—a place to cut through the BS, share real updates, and give you the confidence to navigate any carbon deal. šŸ‘‰ Imagine someone offers you a carbon contract tomorrow… would you know if it stacks up? Let’s get clarity—together. šŸŒ¾šŸ¤ šŸ’¬ Your turn: Drop your #1 question (or frustration) about carbon markets below. No question is too basic—if you’re wondering, chances are others are too.

@Nkosinathi Nkosi Such a great niche! So, the main ways to earn credits are to participate in a "method" in one of the credit markets around the world and/or to track the building of soil carbon. The methods available are often changing - which is why we have this community. šŸ‘

@Nkosinathi Nkosi I'm working on putting together a guide to get through this process based on questions I have received. Please send through any other major questions you have - it all helps!
Carbon Market First Impressions
When I first heard of the carbon market, I was confused. To be honest, I'm constantly learning new things about it. However, while most in the ag industry got angry. I knew markets always provide opportunity - you just have to be on the right side of it. What if this could be a win for agriculture? What if producers didn't have to take whatever price they were offered? The great news? It's possible. And I'm here to show you how. What are your first impressions of the carbon market?? Keen to hear your thoughts!

Welcome to Carbon Farmers!
You’re officially part of a community built to help you navigate carbon farming and carbon markets with confidence. If this is your first time inside Skool (or even if you’ve been here before), here’s a simple step-by-step to make the most of it: āœ… Step 1: Introduce Yourself Drop a quick post in the Introductions category. Include: - Where you farm or what you grow (or why carbon farming interests you) - One question you’d love answered about carbon farming or the markets - A fun fact about yourself šŸ‘‰ This helps us get to know you AND instantly puts you on the radar of like-minded people here. āœ… Step 2: Turn On Notifications Click the bell at the top right. That way, you’ll get updates on: - Market changes - New community guides - Expert Q&As Skool’s best feature is learning in real time — don’t miss out because you forgot to flip the switch. āœ… Step 3: Explore the Classroom Head over to the Classroom tab. That’s where I’ve posted starter guides and resources. āœ… Step 4: Engage (The Secret to Unlocking Value Here) Every time you comment, ask, or share — you gain points. More points = more access to higher-level resources, bonus calls, and insider updates. So don’t just scroll — engage. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out. āœ… Step 5: Ask Questions No question is too basic. Chances are, if you’re wondering about it, so is someone else. Post your question in the Discussion category — and tag it if you can. šŸŽÆ Your Quick Win Today: šŸ‘‰ Introduce yourself in the Introductions category. šŸ‘‰ Then, comment on at least one other person’s post. Final thought: This group works best when we share openly. Carbon farming is changing every week — together we’ll stay ahead of it. I’m glad you’re here. Let’s make carbon farming work for farmers — not just investors. 🌱
