@Eileen Edwards I help a few service businesses and e-commerce. I’m not sure what you mean by “facing so far,” but I enjoy helping business owners reach their goals and dreams! I think we all have our passions in life and once I realized I like helping people, it all made sense. I feel very fulfilled with my role. Also, happy Fri-yay!

@Devin Butler If you’re ever interested in boba, Regions Tea in Phoenix, Mochi Fresh in Tempe, and Crafti in Mesa! They all have seating inside so you can chat and meet.

@Roberta Voss I just finished reading that! It was a super interesting concept because I definitely grew up on the mentality of you work hard and that’s how to make it work (2x mentality). In What’s Your Dream By Simon Squibb he mentions myths at the beginning of his book and he touches on a similar point as 10x is easier than 2x. I haven’t finished reading Simon’s book yet, but hoping it will continue to be insightful!

Not your typical business book, but The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin. She talks about how you react/engage with inner and outer expectations. She explains each of the 4 tendencies (strengths, weaknesses, etc.) but then goes into strategies to play on those strengths if you have that tendency, your spouse, your child, your co-workers, even patient/doctor scenario! Though it didn’t talk about business strategy or mindset, it did help me to know myself. So I am able to do tasks for my business and because I have strategies that work for me.
What’s One Idea You’re Excited to Explore Right Now?
Hey everyone, I’m new here and excited to connect with fellow Arizona entrepreneurs. I run a fashion business, so I’ve been building online on the side for a bit, and I’m always curious about what sparks energy for other business owners. What’s one project, idea, or experiment you’re currently excited about, something that’s keeping you motivated right now? For me, it’s always the testing phase, seeing what works and learning from what doesn’t. Would love to hear what’s keeping you inspired these days.

Juggling Projects and Finding Focus
Hey everyone, I’ve noticed that as entrepreneurs, it’s easy to get pulled in a bunch of directions at once, trying out different ideas, tools, or projects and sometimes it’s hard to know what to focus on next. I’m curious, how do you all decide which project or idea deserves your attention first? Would love to hear how other folks manage staying productive without spreading themselves too thin.

@Chris Jeff Yes, steal away! I used to work in health and wellness so mental health and work/life balance is a passion of mine! I am a virtual assistant for small businesses! I right now support a therapy group practice and e-commerce business. 🥳

@Chris Jeff Oh goodness, that’s quite kind of you to say. I appreciate the vote of confidence. I worked for 3 years in company health and wellness, so I would support the employees to engage in programs and resources to reach their wellness goals. LOL Again, me helping! Funny how it took me this long to figure out that’s what I enjoy to do. 😂

Social media manager — I know it’s important but it’s one of my least favorite things. Quite a paradox, but I think since I help two other businesses with their social media accounts by the time I get to my own I’m done!

Virtual Assistant I love to help others so they can have one less stress to worry about. Currently, I support a therapy group practice and e-commerce.
