I got interested in rocks and minerals after my sister had a ring made from old family jewelry and I didn’t like the center stone! lol. I really got into gemology and then figured what better free hobby with 4 kids than finding our own rocks and minerals? It’s a passion..some say it’s an obsession (borderline) just love being out in nature and admiring its beauty and teaching kids about it!
