GMB Scam Calls
Not sure if this is something that anyone can really help with, but I am writing on a very important issue with my client's new business number, one that I had not reckoned for. This week, I just set up my first client's business number on their google page so that I could use the voice ai service and so I could track the total calls. Unfortunately, voice ai is very expensive (almost 10 cents a minute). This, of course, is a price I'm willing to pay if it helps my client close more customers, but right now, I am getting a bunch of robo calls to that number that are scam calls saying that I need to update my Google listing. Does anyone have any experience with dealing with these calls so that they don't keep wasting the minutes? Is there a way to get rid of them?

@Luqman Bennett Sure, how do you do that?

@Regis Tiebi the way that I'm doing it is by explaining that they can get a new business number (the GHL one) and that if they miss a call, the ai will pick up. The business owners seem to like that. Essentially that means that the ai is connected to the phone number as the backup if the owner does not answer the forwarded call. Right now, I think that my best option is to just leave my system the way it is and just eat the cost incurred by the excess calls.
