@Theresa Elliott Isn't it interesting Teresa that when we change, the world also changes around us? How much of our reality is subjectively perceived and experienced?
Lesson #5: Why I Give Thanks for 60 Seconds Every Day πŸ“š
Every single day, I spend 60 seconds giving thanks. That's it. One minute. And here's what I've noticed: by the end, I'm never out of things to be grateful for. I start with the obvious stuff; my family, my health, my bed, my pets. But then it goes deeper. The people in this community. The opportunities I have today. The fact that I woke up with a roof over my head and food in the fridge. Every single time the 60 seconds is up, I find myself thinking of more. πŸ“• Here's why this matters: Studies show that people who practice daily gratitude experience: - 25% increase in happiness levels - Better sleep quality - Stronger immune systems - Improved relationships - Lower stress and anxiety Gratitude isn't just a feel good practice. It shifts our perspectives. It enhances our lives. Try this for the next 7 days: 1. Every day you wake up. Set a timer for 60 seconds. 2. Think of everything you're grateful for. 3. Speak them outloud. Don't stop until the timer goes off. You'll be surprised how much you have. What's one thing you're grateful for today? Drop it below. πŸ‘‡ If someone comments and you're thankful for that person, let them know too.

Words Carry Power: What Are You Claiming for 2026?
Happy New Year! 2026 is here. Let's set the tone. πŸŽ‰ I believe words are the most powerful thing under the sun. What you declare out loud carries weight. It change show you move. It changes what you attract. What you speak out loud becomes real, truly. There's a reason we say vows out loud. There's a reason "I will" hits different than "I'll try." Words aren't just sounds. They're seeds. So here's the challenge: Drop one declaration for 2026. Not a hope. Not a "maybe." A statement. Then say it loud. πŸ—£οΈ "I will ____________." And here's the second part: Scroll through the thread. Find someone whose declaration makes you feel something. Reply. Encourage them. Hype them up. If their words match yours, declare it together, speak life! Let's not just make this a thread. Let's make it a moment!!!! Build each other up. Fire each other up. Love on each other. This is how we start 2026. I'll go first: I will build a community that changes how people see what's possible. Your turn. Let's fill this thread with declarations. πŸ₯‚ P.S. Classroom goes live at 7PM PST πŸ›°οΈ 😎

@Iris Ocariza The metaphor gets interesting when we realize that our antivirus is the ability to neutralize negative words from others, through practices such as reframing and minimization. Just as the antivirus is a separate purchase, in our language, these must be taught separately. But unlike grammar and composition, they are not taught in schools. That's why we dedicate much time in our Skool community, Better Life Better Business, to impart these irreplaceable skills to success seekers. Iris what's your experience in this area?

@Iris Ocariza I agree. It takes deep discipline and re-training to get the 3 forms right--thought, written and spoken. If I promise I'll never again SPEAK a certain thing to you or about you, but my THOUGHT words about you have not changed, sooner or later my spoken or WRITTEN words will betray my thoughts about you.
