Biblically, selfish ambition is when u elevate yourself at the expense of others or apart from God’s will. It’s driven by pride, comparison, or the need for recognition. —Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves” Godly ambition is directed toward God’s purposes, not self-glory. Driven by purpose, and willing to sacrifice and not gain. Ask yourself -If no one noticed me would I still pursue this? -Am I willing to do this God’s way, or just whatever gets fast results? -Does this build God’s kingdom or my own kingdom?

A couple years ago, somebody complimented me by saying that I have great posture and I walk like I own the place. I care a lot about my posture and presentation lol.

I wish I knew that you don’t have to become perfect and healed before seeking the Lord. He meets me where I’m at and we get transformed by the surrendering of our own life, the renewing of our mind, and we are being transformed into His image, by the Spirit of the Lord.
