You should touch more receipts
Wait what? I think we all know about the dangers of BPA and how receipts have unbound BPA on their surface to help with thermal printing. We all learned to decline cashiers when they hit you with the 'ol "here's the receipt!" The problem is that when there are so many little dangers and toxins out there, and constant social media warnings - it becomes exhausting! At what point do you just need to stay home in an insulated bubble? In my view, the stress of staying healthy can become a source of pain. But being healthy was never supposed to be a burden: it was supposed to be a self-reinforcing life-long habit All this to say, if you feel stressed by your "health responsibilities", let it go Here's a funny quote: Your body isn't a temple, it is an amusement park: you're just here for the ride! At the end of the day, I just want to work on cool projects that help and delight people. That's it. Easy Peasy. And I hope you can do the same. Regards, KR PS: Don't actually touch receipts just for the sake of it πŸ˜‚

True, people also don't give our bodies enough credit, if we do healthy habits (exercise, sweat, eat the right foods, sleep etc), our bodies are able to purge toxins remarkably well. The way to live is to be a disciplined care free. Fall into the world's traps, be physically and mentally behind. Live disciplined while being care free, by following foundational rules, you physically and mentally get stronger. A win win if you ask me. Edit: I would even go so far to say that following your bodies signs is the disciplined part. Feel like going outside? Do it. You probably crave sunlight for its benefits. Feel like having fruit instead of something savoury? Do it, your body probably wants to de-toxify. Feel like you can't sit still infront of work? Go for a walk or do pushups/squats. Your body is asking for it. All the answers are within, first we have to remove the cloud infront of us, the cloud being unecessary pleasures in my opinion.
Emotional Off-Loading Protocol
A Question I got from an Advisory Member: What do you do in moments that you are overwhelmed? In my case I can get easily emotionally overwhelmed due to small things like a rejection, which leads to me overthinking, then cascading into trauma issues. I know that journalling, etc helps in the long run, but what would you recommend to do in the moment for this? I'm sick of this happening randomly. Also I want to know what to do about it when at work too (especially here). === MY ANSWER === Having systems that build and maintain your mental strength, such as journalling, will provide a long term improvement. But it doesn't help in the short term...right? It can! In my view, journalling and meditation work in the short term as well. If I am feeling too upset to sleep, I will literally journal for an hour or more to get the emotional "heat" out of the system. Nothing to be ashamed about - this is a tool, and any man (or woman) can use it. My framework for emotional off-loading: 1. What happened and why are you upset? 2. Is there something good that can come from this? 3. Should I change my behaviors as a result of this? (often, the answer is no) 4. Can I get stronger as a result of this? Regards, KR

When surrounded by darkness, it is an opportunity for the light in my heart to shine bright. Its a good opportunity for me to see just how bright this light is.
Stop waking up at night to pee! πŸ›ŒπŸ’¦
A full 20% of members polled on YT said that they wake up every night or every other night to pee. Not Good! It for sure messes with your sleep quality (as you have probably felt) So what do you do? 1. Drink way more water before noon, at minimum 3 cups more. This will keep you hydrated later in the day (when you should be consuming less water). After 6PM, minimize water intake. A small glass of water after dinner is fine, but here too you're trying to have dinner early as possible. 7-8PM at the latest (assuming 10PM-11PM bedtime) 2. Magnesium Supplementation. Have a Mg Glycinate or Threonate supp with your post dinner small glass of water. This should be your final water consumption of the day. TL;DR: Drink more water than you usually do, but have it BEFORE noon. Easy Peasy.
