Turkey Trot warm up!
The development that the ice cream shop is in had an informal turkey trot yesterday! I walked with a few customers. It was a nice way to get the legs ready for my timed turkey trot Thursday! I won’t be quick but I’m hoping to run some!

Who is interested in DIG IN with Shaun T? Should we make this our December Challenge?
Our group has always come alive when we’re doing a program together — the energy, the check-ins, the momentum… it’s where the best results happen. When everyone’s got a plan and an accountability squad? It has ALWAYS been a game changer, and I think that it would be fun to have a simple plan for the final month of the year. What do you say we bring that magic back for December?? 👀 I'm thinking it would be awesome to link arms and do the brand new DIG IN program from Shaun T together — it's dropping into the BODi library on November 17 💥 Think: INSANITY-style cardio (but now low-impact!) + the strength training fire of DIG DEEPER = one powerful 30-day hybrid that builds muscle, burns fat, and leaves you with serious definition — all in just 30–35 minutes a day. And it’s Shaun T — so expect the hype, the motivation, and the mental push that’ll take you past every excuse and into your next-level results. What to expect? • 30 days, 30–35 min a day • Dumbbells + adjustable bench • 5 signature workouts: Chest / Arms & Legs / Back / Legs & Glutes / The Dig • Plus: 5-min bonus Abs + Arms blasts 🗓️ Key Dates: ➡️ November 17 – DIG IN available on BODi ➡️ December 1 – Our Group Challenge kicks off! This one’s all about digging deep — physically and mentally — to finish the year stronger than we started. I am curious -- who would be interested in doing this program together?

I’d love that! I need some accountability and momentum!
What a day…
I had big plans for tonight. I was hoping for a quick close, quick stop at the store, quick dinner, get my walk and read done and be able to relax a little before my shower. That did not happen… 1. Our shops owners are at an ice cream convention in FL so I had to pick up tubs and change about 6 of them throughout the shift. I biggie since the girl that closed doesn’t have a key for the shop that has the big freezer and I do. Normally wouldn’t be a problem except… 2. The closer the last 3 days didn’t restock anything last night so I had to do that as I was able. 3. It was steady for a lot of the day which is great but I’m alone so it makes it hard to do things that didn’t get done. 4. A customer could smell gas outside and so did a second one and then I could smell it so I had to call the fire department to come check that out. All was fine but that happened during my one lul and I got busy again for a bit as soon as they left. So I didn’t get out until after 10 still needed to pop into the store and grab something to eat for lunch tomorrow. So here it is 11:30 and I’m just eating dinner. I did close my rings and get my steps in so at least I got that done and the shop is fine and I’m fine but boy what a day! Thanks for listening to my venting! Just a very frustrating day!

@Amanda Steele much better! I got my period… early so that probably didn’t help my mood this week. I’ve been easily irritated. And that usually means my cycle is off the norm. It did! It finally arrived today! I’ll set it up after choir! I’m so happy it’s here it looks brand new even though it’s refurbished!
Took my car on a final drive
Not sure if the is right place for this. But I am feeling all the feels right now. We are selling my car. It’s 2010 Scion tC. I bought it when I was 22. It was my first “adult” purchase. I haven’t driven her much lately. She had just sat in the driveway or on the street. She isn’t baby/toddler friendly and I just feel more comfortable in our Venza now. So it is time for her to find a new home. I’ve been ready to sell her for a while now and we finally have had the time to sit down and start the process but driving her today made me feel a little sad. I cried pulling up to the house. I wasn’t anticipating that. But here’s to all the great wonderful memories I have had with her and to a new chapter. First photo was taken today. The last three are from the day I drove it home from the dealer.

I am saying yes to exercise…
But I keep forgetting to take the selfie! I’m usually so engrossed in my book that I end my walk and sit right down to keep reading. That will change some next week! I’m starting a training plan with runna! This girls getting her running mojo back! Seeing all the content from the NYC Marathon has been very motivating! That national blood clot alliance has a team so I’m hoping to run and raise funds for them in the next couple years! It would be my first marathon post blood clot so it would be really special.
