Still Deciding On Friday - Need To Hear From You All
I put out a post asking if there was interest in a Friday shooting session. Got some responses. Still need more before I lock it in. If you missed it — here's what it is. Shooting only. No ball handling. No conditioning. The entire session is built around getting your shot right. We're covering form work for players with shot issues, shooting on the move, spot up shooting under a time clock, and pass and relocate — getting your shot off without the ball in your hands. I'm keeping it small group. That's on purpose. More reps, more coaching, more shots per player. You're not standing in line. If your player needs work on their shot, this is exactly where they need to be. Reply to this email or DM me and let me know you're in. If I don't get enough interest it doesn't happen. Simple as that.

For Serious Parents & Players Only!
This is for serious players and their parents only. After finally completing the TDSE certification program, I can now add players to the RealSkill app. This essentially means that I’m a Certified I’m Possible skills trainer. The app will be used to cover the skill portion of training at home and in the gym. It will allow players to organize their games based on their favorite skills, “needs work” folder, and completed folder. It will also enable me to hold players accountable for working on their skills at home, eliminating any guesswork and ensuring tangible results. If you’re already training with me, you can get access to the app, but I’m saving it for players who are highly committed and aspire to play at a higher level, seeking an advantage against the competition. If you believe this is suitable for you and your athlete, please comment below, message me on this platform, or text me. Download the Realskill app here - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/realskill/id1563653952

Getting To Your Spots On The Floor. Watch This
In training, I often talk about getting to open space on the floor. Some players confuse this with just any open space without factoring in the type of defense that is on the court. The way I was taught is that there's six consistent spots on the floor that you should try to get to and players at all levels use it to this day. Those spots are the elbows, short corner, and corner three. In the video they will talk about it. After you start to really develop your game in your way, you'll start to have more spots. For example, a spot of mine on the floor are the two wings on the three-point line. This is because I like to sidestep away from defense at an angle, and I shoot a higher percentage from the wing compared to say the middle of the key. Other Hoopers I played with like specifically the corner. It all depends on you. But spots that's always going to be open is the mid range because it is the middle ground in between the initial defender and the help defenders.
